Banquet for Emperor Ferdinand

Richard join the Banquet Hall. Some people were already there. They bowed deeply while he sat at the table. In front of him, Emperor Ferdinand will take place for this banquet in his honour

Inge entered in the Hall, after hearing that the whole court was invited to join the banquet. She left Leo with a nanny and walked alone along the Hall, looking around. She was curious to meet the Emperor Ferdinand, cause she heard he was kind and handsome. After curtsing before King Richard, she sat at the table and took a sip from her wine, waiting for the Emperor to arrive

Inigo came back from England after his mission for Princess Isabella. He came just in time to join the banquet for Emperor Ferdinand. Greeting people kindly around him, he reached the table and waited with other guests

I was informed of a banquet that was happening for the emperor and I came down and entered the hall and curtsied to King Richard and I saw Inge Bergman there and I took my place next to her.
"Greetings lady Bergman how are you today. This banquet is an honour and have you met the Emperor.?"

I arrive at the banquet and decided to wear a coral colour. As i enter i see Ambassador Mendoza there a I acknowledge him before curtsying to the king.

"Your Majesty"

I came down to the great hall after being informed of a banquet for my brother and today i wore a beautiful yellow i entered and curtsied to the king.

I had been told that there was a banquet in the great hall in my honour and I came down to the great hall and entered to see many people there and i approached King Richard.

"Your majesty I am honoured for this banquet."

Richard smiled and looked at Ferdinand

I'm glad having you at court, my Lord. I have a gift for you. A gift coming from Ottoman Empire. Hope you like it..

Then he gestured a servant to open Salon's door

At this point she saw the Emperor joining the Hall. She stood up and curtsied deeply before him

Dilara entered the Hall. King Richard wrote personally to Sultan Suleyman asking him to have one of his concubines at the Banquet. She was sent there to dance before the Emperor Ferdinand

She walked along the Hall wearing a red gown, very different from european gowns. It was indeed very light and her body was almost fully exposed. She used to dance for the Sultan in harem at Topkapi Palace. The music started and she focused her eyes on the Emperor. She smiled seductively and started dancing for him with slow movements, without losing her eye's contact with Ferdinand

I say doen before the Emperor my brother and from the corner of my eye I saw the Ambassador talking with my sister and I look over at them before turning my attention to the dance that was just starting.

I say at the royal table then turned my attention to King Richard as he spoke to me.

"A gift for me my lord I am honoured to receive it and from the Ottoman empire too. Please show me this gift" I said as he nodded and the doors to the salon opened and in stepped a beautiful dancer in barely any clothes and she caught my close attention as she began to dance.

I watched her as she slowly moved around and she moved closer and I was enjoying this and now did indeed want to speak with her too. I continued to watch whilst eating some bread.

"It is nice to see you Bridget. You will like the emperor I have met him myself why not speak with him too whilst he is here. How is your son?" i asked whilst curtsying to the emperor as he entered.

I look at the ambassador.

"That is great news ambassador thank you please keep seeing her. Her family will be protected by Spain"

Ferdinand I wrote:

I watched her as she slowly moved around and she moved closer and I was enjoying this and now did indeed want to speak with her too. I continued to watch whilst eating some bread.

Richard started watching the dance with Ferdinand sat at his side. While eating and drinking he enjoyed the music and glanced at the Emperor

A true beauty...isn't she? Her name is Dilara. The Sultan himself gave me permission to bring her in Bavaria for you. Hope you like her..

He whispered to him while watching the turkish girl dancing before them

Inge was looking at the dancer with disappointment. As Anne spoke to her she just replied:

"My son Leo is very well, Lady Anne. Thank you for asking. About the Emperor..I would love talking to him. But his attention is taken by the ottoman dancer, as you see.."

She sighed and rolled her eyes

"So..tell me your opinion, Lady Anne. Don't you find...inappropriate for a young lady dancing half naked before a man? I know Turkey has another culture..another history and traditions. Even another religion. But I think she shouldn't have come.."

She added. Even if she had to admit that the dancer was very beautiful, she felt a bit nervous. She start wondering if she was a bit jealous, since Emperor Ferdinand never kept his eyes from her

Inigo noticed Princess Eleanor was looking at him. So he bowed to Isabella to approach her sister

Mi Princesa..I heard you need talking to me. In which way I can serve you?

He whispered to her, while people around were enjoying music

Dilara kept on dancing with seducing movements of her hips, playing with her red veils. Her eyes were locked on Ferdinand. She smiled teasingly at him

She slowly approached royal table to dance closer to him. She removed a veil from her gown showing one leg, while she could hear people in the Hall whispering and clapping their hands. She curtsied before him. At the end, she fell at Ferdinand's feet before removing another veil from her shoulders

She kissed Ferdinand's mantle and looked up at him

"Hunkarim.."

She whispered with soft voice, wich in turkish means "Your Majesty"

I pay close attention to her as she danced and I was enjoying it. She stops in front of me and her very seductive ways was such a delight for me to see.

She greets me in Turkish with a grand smile. I sit and watch then I speak.

"You dance beautifully my lady and you are entertaining with it and I am very happy. Your name is Dilara isn't it? Please come and sit with me"

I look at the dancer then lady Inge

"Glad to hear your son is well my lady he was so nice when I met him in the library. Why not meet the emperor after the feast my lady as you are right now he seems to be drawn to that concubine and she is entertaining him too.

I myself do not like the idea of them coming here against our traditions for entertainment purposes but his majesty King Richard wanted her as a gift for the emperor".

Richard clapped his hands as Dilara finished her dance. He smiled and looked at the Emperor. He looked delighted by the gift he made for him. He gestured the musicians to play music again

"I will be happy talking with him, if he will give me the opportunity to approach him, lady Anne. It seems that King Richard wants him to feel at home. Their alliance must be very important..What about yourself? Are you happy about courtlife?"
