Dearest Isabella,

I have arrived in England safely and did have an informal meeting with my bride to be, The Princess Katherine. She is a sweet and kind soul, beautiful, and I pray that our marriage will strengthen the ties between Navarre and England. I do also hope that she will always be a faithful and loving wife to me.

Our departure was bittersweet and I am saddened that I left Portugal the way I did. You shall always be a special person to me. I never want to lose your friendship and I do hope that we can see each other again soon.

With Love,

Francis
