I am sure that your niece has told you that I have visited the Bavarian Court in hopes of securing a bride for myself and that I wanted to meet you as well. I met the Princess Valerie as I wandered about and she struck my heart, in a good way, with her kindness and her loving nature. I left Bavaria suddenly as I wrestled with my feelings for a woman I just met and while being in England, I realized that I want to be with Valerie. I want to marry her and make her my wife and Duchess.
I want to come back and speak to you on a possible betrothal between Valerie and I at your earliest convenience.
