July 1533 - It is reported that Thomas Howard, 3rd Duke of Norfolk and George Boleyn, caught up with the French court. While they were there both Henry Howard, Earl of Surrey and Henry Fitzroy, Duke of Richmond became violently sick, at the same time. Richmond was so ill, that for a while, it was feared he might die.
July 1533 - Pope Clement VII excommunicates King Henry VIII & his advisers (including Thomas Cranmer)
JSeptember 1533 - Anne Boleyn gives birth to Princess Elizabeth Tudor
November 1533 - Henry Fitzroy, Henry VIII's illegitimate son, marries Mary Howard (daughter of Thomas Howard, 3rd Duke of Norfolk) Anne Boleyn is said to have worked for this pairing.

She was sitting in her chambers reading the latter Thomas sent to her again, and again, until she remembered every word and then put it next to her heart. There were no words of feelings, but there were no need, she already knew how he felt.

I folded up a spare piece of parchment and shoved it under Catherine's door.

Dear Catherine,
I cannot thank you enough for allowing me ... and my horse, to stay. You showed me a kindness that not many would and for that I am grateful.

I am sorry I have left without saying goodbye in person, but I hope to be back at Whitehall as soon as possible. If you should ever visit London then please come visit as I hope one day I may call you a friend.

I hope all went well with you gentlemen last night! You must tell me all about it next time we meet.
