My dearest Isabella,

I just learnt about your decision to leave Bavaria. Hope this decision has nothing to do with me. And I really hope I haven't hurted you in some way. I know that your family in Spain needs your help. But Max and I need you too. I'm not trying to force you to stay. But think about your help. The physician said you should stay in bed instead of travelling by ship. Please, just tell me that you're not mad at me. I miss you

With love

"Richard,

I am not mad at you I love you that is all. I cannot just sit back and worry helpless in bed with a crying child stuck to my breast when other matters at hand need attending to the most. Put yourself in my place despite our son being born in an awkward and dangerous position it was meant to be a happy and joyous time for us both and I am not even happy with his name.

My beloved Aunt sister to my Mother has been put away under the false pretence that she is mad by her son Emperor Charles.. Sadly I do not even feel part of your life anymore. I gave you a son but not even that is enough to keep you in my bed.

Isabella

Mother of your son."

My dearest Isabella,

How can you say that you feel no part of my life anymore, since you gave me a son? You both are precious to me. And if you think that I no longer feel desire for you, you're wrong. I still need you in my bed, Isabella. And Max needs his mother. Please don't leave us. Or at least, give me the opportunity to tell you how much you mean to me..

With Love
