William entered the grand hall of his house. This evening he expected a lovely young lady. She was still on his mind. Her face...her hair...and expecially her wit.She was so charming and magical, that the Young Wolf felt trapped by her charms. He hoped that she felt the same about him.He greeted his servants and ordered them to serve the best food in the household. He wanted to impress the young lady.

Anne arrived at the beautiful Wilton house which belonged to lord William Herbert. She went out of the carriage with a courtesy move.A servant pioneered her to the entrance and upstairs.Anne was feeling flattered feeling glad to have the advantage to see the exquisite environment inside this incredible house which was a masterpiece of art itself. She was wearing her favourite dark blue dress with incredible sapphire jewelry. Her hair was braided with ringlets of hair loosen on her shoulders.

As William was sitting in his room, drinking ale, a servant entered the room and announced the arrival of lady Anne Parr. William`s heart started beating really fast and he ordered his servant to escort the lady to the dining room. The boy left. William was really happy that he was going to have a dinner with the precious lady. He couldn`t hide his excitement. He tried to slow his breath and to look calm and went to greet the lady.

As going upstairs Anne was trying to think how would she greet lord Herbert.Never before did she look like that, never before did she feel so exited.A strange feeling that couldn't leave her mind since she met this mysterious man with the gentle sapphire blue eyes a month ago in Pergola garden.Anne was naturally very mistrustful but something in his presence made her feel safe.

William was saying over the things he wanted to say to the lady in his head, when the servant entered the room.William` heart trembled. The servant bowed and introduced Lady Anne. She looked so charming and magical that William lost his words. "Umm...m-m-m`lady Parr. I-It is a great p-pleasure for me to have you as my guest in my humble manor. P-please be seated" he said, struggling with his words.

"Good evening,my lord." she said softly curtsying "It's a great honour to be in such an incredible place like your house and to have the pleasure to be in your gracious company." she added and took the seat opposite lord Herbert. The repast was full of various types of food.Best chosen by the great lord who was more aesthetic than the king himself.

William ordered the servant to bring a bottle of wine."Are you enjoying yourself at court, madame?" asked William and looked at the gracious lady on the other side of the table. The servant poured the wine into the glasses.

"Yes,my lord I have the pleasure to serve to queen Catherine. Now that she will no longer be queen my brother says that I can take the place of a lady-in-waiting to lady Anne.We all know she will soon be a queen and I had the pleasure to talk with her a couple of times and she seems really charismatic.Queen Catherine has her special qualities too, they both are so different...We will serve our majesty and please all his demands as it is expected." Anne said and took her glass of wine to make a toast. " As we see my lord times change and the change his majesty made to England may be for good." She looked at his eyes fixedly and smiled facetiously.

"I feel sorry for her majesty queen Catherine, but it is king Henry's decision to re-marry and we should respect it. Maybe the new queen will be better for the protestant cause. Generally changes are always good" said William with a smile and drank from his glass.

"You are absolutely right m'lord.I have decided to make a big change in my life lately. It has been really long term of stagnation for me these last years. But I should." she said and after drinking another sip of wine exclaimed "This wine tastes like home...reminds me so much of the taste of that wine my father used to make...Those large cherry and grape plantations he devoted his life to." she did feel like home in his company.

"It brings me very much pleasure to hear that you enjoy the wine. Pleasing my guests is the least I can do. And you, mistress Parr, deserve the best things in this world". After realizing what he'd said, William's checks began to burn, he got nervous and decided to change the topic. "Do you miss you home, m'lady?"

"I sorely miss my old family house and our beautiful gardens. My mother died last year,me and my borther and sister faced with it with great grief, but now I am glad that I am able see my siblings quite often.I'm seeing my brother William soon." she said and took a sip of wine, cleaned her throat and added."M'lord is too kind to me..."

"Please, accept my condolences. She was really fortunate to have you as a daughter" said William. "I cannot ever be too kind to you, m'lady. As I said earlier, a lady like you deserves all the happiness in this world. And I should not be called a gentleman, if I don't do everything to please you" His eyes, filled with sincere passion, gazed into hers. He felt his heart beating fast, his hands shaking as he was saying: "Lady Parr, you are the most beautiful creature, I've ever seen."

Anne tried hardly to hold the wave of feelings surging troughout her being."Your gracious lordship I am your humble subject and servant. My persona has done nothing in order to justify an image of such nature." she said timidly, took a sip of wine and added "Beauty my lord, isn't it fragile and transitional...After all what's left is our immortal soul, for your soul m'lord Herbert is the purest!"
