While they were there both Henry Howard, Earl of Surrey and Henry Fitzroy, Duke of Richmond became violently sick, at the same time. Richmond was so ill, that for a while, it was feared he might die.
July 1533 - Pope Clement VII excommunicates King Henry VIII & his advisers (including Thomas Cranmer)
JSeptember 1533 - Anne Boleyn gives birth to Princess Elizabeth Tudor
November 1533 - Henry Fitzroy, Henry VIII's illegitimate son, marries Mary Howard (daughter of Thomas Howard, 3rd Duke of Norfolk) Anne Boleyn is said to have worked for this pairing.

I am heading to England to meet the court there to learn more about the kingdom. Is there anything you wish to tell me how different they are to our court. But I might stop in Bavaria first then go to England.

I wish I could tell you more of the English court, but having never been there I am at a loss for advice. I have heard only through secondhand accounts that it is a place of such merriment and debauchery that you must fight any temptations you come across. I hope you will be able to visit with your Aunt Katherine. And if you do, please send her my love.

I am in Bavaria and then will be going to England. Later I will stop and see Aunt Katherine and I will not be traveling alone I will have my ladies in waiting with me along with a few guards.
