Guest Room

She walked into the bedchambers as her ladies in waiting curtesy low to her and her brother. She felt a bit weak and set on the bed.

"Brother I don't feel good."

She said to him.

"Charles leaded her slowly until her bed. With the help of her lady in waiting he made her lie on bed and sat at her side"

Do you want me to call someone? Your ladies can call the physician and I shall remain with you, in the meanwhile..

"He smiled and took her hand. She was a bit cold. He gulped. For a moment he feared she could have the same sickness that brought his poor Margaret to death"

She looked at her brother.

"I just need to rest. I will be fine. But I need to know about my mother's side of the family."

She said to him.

"Charles rubbed softly her hand but he frowned weakly, not understanding what she meant"

I thought you knew about your mother. Our father never left my mother. So you're the only one who can know something about your mother family side...

"He said. Then he looked at her ladies meaning to leave them alone"

Her ladies in waiting curtesy low to her and her brother and they left the room.

"Brother the letter remember."

She said to him.

"Charles thought for a while. Then he nodded"

Ah yes...the letter! But I don't remember it very well, sorry. You know...the banishment, little Henry, Victoria...my mind was elsewhere. What can I do to help you, sister?

"He asked showing her a comforting smile"

She looked at her brother.

Yes...I did. Actually, I had no time ti investigate about your mother's origins. I don't know if she is royal or not. But if she has smething to do with Scotland...maybe you could go there when you'll feel better. I would like to accompany you, sister. But as you see...I'm locked here in Suffolk...

"He replied squeezing softly her hand"

She looked at her brother.

"Brother I will wait for you."

She said to him.

"Charles nodded"

As you wish, sister. Try to rest, now...

"He smiled"

She looked at her brother.

She said with a smile as she closed her eyes.

"Charles took a deep breath"

Do you want me lo leave, then? You look tired...

"He replied"

"Just until I fall asleep brother."

She said as she lays there with her eyes closed.

"Charles nodded"

Alright...I'll stay here until you'll fall asleep, sister. Have rest, now...

Faith soon was a sleep and he breath was slow as she laid there on the bed.

"Charles watched her falling asleep and with his right hand he caressed her forehead slowly"

A few hours later Faith woke up.

"Charles?'

She said softly.

"Charles was staring thoughtfully at fireplace. Suddenly he turned his head noticing that his sister woke up"

Faith? How do you feel?

Faith looked over at her dear brother.

"Still a bit tired but feeling a bit better.'

She said softly.

"Charles took her hand and smiled"

Are you sure? Do you need something?

Faith smiled at her dear brother.

"I am sure. I had a dream of my mother and our father.'

She said softly.

"Charles looked surprised at her"

Oh...really? What have you dremt?
