While they were there both Henry Howard, Earl of Surrey and Henry Fitzroy, Duke of Richmond became violently sick, at the same time. Richmond was so ill, that for a while, it was feared he might die.
July 1533 - Pope Clement VII excommunicates King Henry VIII & his advisers (including Thomas Cranmer)
JSeptember 1533 - Anne Boleyn gives birth to Princess Elizabeth Tudor
November 1533 - Henry Fitzroy, Henry VIII's illegitimate son, marries Mary Howard (daughter of Thomas Howard, 3rd Duke of Norfolk) Anne Boleyn is said to have worked for this pairing.

Your Grace, my friend Brandon,

I write to you, from my country home, with the most surprising news. Before my brief retirement from court, I met my intended, Joan. To my shock and perhaps even horror - she was not the monster I expected. Young and lively, innocent in so many ways - she appeals to my curiosity, eyes and conceivably one day, my heart.

We have hitherto taken leave of London and travelled to Cornwall. Brandon, I am quite content and I believe I must thank you. I remember you assured me she may be young and pretty, that I had no cause for worry. I am sure Your Grace is used to being right, I am simply not used to be wrong! You were right - she has both these qualities.

I hope this letter finds you well and in good spirits. Perhaps, in the not too distant future - your wife and mine may meet, perhaps they will get along as well as us. Should you require anything, Brandon or ever need a friendly ear - please, be assured of mine. If you find yourself free in the coming days, you are welcome always at my home.

My Lord Sir Denny,

I'm glad to hear that you are satisfied about your future wife. But you have no need to thank me. You should rather thank God who brought her into your life.
I had no doubt that she was young and pretty, indeed. But I'm sure she has many other qualities, who will made her the perfect wife for you, dear Anthony.
I'm very well. I'm in King's grace again, and now my eldest son Charlie came at court. So I'll spend time with him, I guess. But I also thank you for your kind invitation. My wife Catherine and I will come as soon as possible to visit you and your future wife Joan.
I'm happy hearing about you, and I hope to meet you soon again
