Your Highness Princess Eleanor,
I write to you about your mother, Queen Joanna. Your sister Isabella is my guest in Bavaria. She talked to me about your mother and your brother Charles.
I hope we can reach an agreement to free your mother from her sad situation. I'm sure the Emperor your brother will be magnanimous.
If you like, you may reach your sister in my court and talk freely about that. I would like to offer my help for your cause.

My Greetings
Richard of Bavaria

Your Majesty King Richard

I am pleased to hear from your majesty. I do hope you wife is in good health. You say my sister is at your court. I did not know she was there.

As regards to my mother if Isabella wants to help in a way perhaps my lord myself and your Grace could talk in person in Bavaria then and please do inform me as to where to meet you.

Your sincerely

Princess Eleanor of Austria and Castile.
