"Charles prevented her from standing up slowly"

Please, Anna. You are still weak. I'm sure the physician has a remedy for you...

"He said hopefully, turning towards Agostino"

"No need to cry, my lady. You will be alright. Please, drink this medicine twice a day after eating. Go on for two weeks and you will be completely restored. You just need to rest.."

He said, closing his medical bag

Thank you sir I shall. Charles would you walk me to my chambers so that I may start taking this elixir as the physician told me to do. Now your duty to me is done and I thank you, dear Charles, for your help in my time of trouble. You has been kind as ever *held his hand as I tried to raise and smiled gently*.

Thank you, Master De Agostinis. I'll make sure personally that she'll take the medicine you gave her...

"He squeezed softly Anna's hand to reassure her"

It was late afternoon when Catherine had noticed that everything seemed a bit quiet. She went off in search for Charles. Finding him sitting rather focused on the edge of his bed.

Husband is everything alright.

Catherine took a seat beside him, wondering what was wrong.

"Charles took a deep breath shooking slowly his head"

Tomorrow I'll have to attend to the coronation ceremony of that whore. How Wolsey called her? The Black Crow..

Catherine didn't like seeing her husband like this. Conflicted. He wanted to keep our king Henry happy, but he had such a dislike to Anne Boleyn. Yet Charles didn't want to be a bad friend to Henry. Shaking her head she spoke.

Can you not plead some dispensation?

"Charles sighed and looked at her with an ironic smile on his lips"

I could. But the King made me Captain of the Guard. If I did, His Majesty would behead me. Then yes..I would be unwell..

Very well. So keep your head. It's a pretty head, in any case. And I don't want to lose it either.

She tried to make a joke to see if he would smile. With her index finger Catherine gently stroked his cheek, hoping to comfort him.

Before placing a kiss on his head. Charles was not in an easy position.

Taking a seat opposite him Catherine begun speaking looking straight into his eye's for his attention.

But store up your knowledge and your anger. Don't act impulsively, it's always a mistake. But one day, with others so disposed, use them both... ... and if you can, bring her down and destroy her.

Charles' loyalty was currently being tested by the king. It felt as though people were waiting for Charles to fall out of line or reveal what he really felt towards Boleyn's.

I love you too Charles and I am very proud of you.

Thank God...I have you at my side, Catherine. And I really hope that you're right. Who knows? Maybe one day...I'll make her fall...

"He added, meaning Anne Boleyn. Then he smiled weakly and took Catherine's hand between his"

Catherine put a finger to his lip... a cold shiver ran throughout her hearing his words.

Husband. It scares me a little to hear you speak like this.
