Nan walked back into her room, it was a tiring night. She didnt even dance or walk a lot but crowded made her tired a bit. When she came into her room she found a note paper on her desk. She opened and read it. She waited for a moment then she put into her gown's pocket and left her room

I arrive at Nan's chambers and knock at her doo, hioping she is there. I take a deep breath as I wait for her to open the door.

Nan was lying on her bed and watching ceiling in silence. She stood up quickly as she head the door knocking. She sat on her bed and waited "Come in"

I am allowed in and I stop at the door, as I curtsy to lady Nan. I take a deep breath before speaking as I look around her chambers.

Nan got up from her bed as she saw Anna. What was she doing here? She never came her room before. They used to talk each other only it was neccessary. She leaded her to sofa and nodded "Would you have a seat? She walked trough the chair in front of sofa and sat down. She thought that why would everyone wanted to talked to her about Charles while waiting her to sit.

I nod a take seat. I delicately fold my hands across my lap as I clear my throat. I look at her then I speak.

Lady Nan, I know of your relationship with Charles. I know he has many women but you, for some reason , have much influence on him. He always comes to you. Well, Charles and I have 4 children together. They need their father. I know he is married but If any reason his marriage dissolves, he should be a family with me and our children. Do you agree?

I bite my lower lip as i await her response. I nervously play with the skirt of my gown

Nan crossed her fingers and put her hands on her lap. She listened her carefully in silence and waited for a few seconds before she answered. "What should i agree? I actually did not understand you my lady." she said with a grave voice. What Anna wanted her to do?

I frown as I sigh. I tilt my head slightly as i speak softly.

When Charles comes to you, I wish you to remind him of his family, his children. I beg you to no longer sleep with him. I am in love with him and he is my first love. i should love no other man, my lady! Do you agree that he should be by the side of his children mostly?

Nan looked around for a moment silently and looked back at her again. "Do you believe that he's in love with me , my lady?

Yes...I do! He says he loves me but I know he harbors stronger feelings for you. I have been in love with him since I was a young girl and I gave him 4 children. I need you to understand I need him as much as my children need him. Would you be able to let him go? For the sake of his chhildren?

Nan nodded slowly and smiled a bit. "Nobody can understand love as much as you do my lady. You know the feeling of loving someone for many years with passion. You cant let go Charles, how could he do the same for me? Even if i let him go, do you believe is he gonna come to you?" she said with a sweet voice.

I frown at her words, feeling frustration rising. I close my eyes a moment then open them again, then I take a deep breath again.

I believe he would, if you would stay away from his sight. Or even tell him yourself....I deserve to have his whole heart! I know he loves me but that love is limited because you have a holod on him. If you tell him that you no longer wish to be with him, he should love me whole also.

Nan looked at her silently and took a glass of water and brough to her. Then she sat on her chair again. "You dont believe what you're saying, do you? " She waited her to drink it and looked around her room again. "I'm not holding him back from anyone Anna. I've seen him only few times in almost 6 months. I'm staying away from court people all the time, even from my own ladies in waiting. " Nan said and looked at her carefully. "But you already knew that dont you.. You should've noticed my absence at court. Thats why you came to me tonight. Charles saw me here after few weeks and he came to me again. Thats what you can take." she said and smiled.

I know you were away and while you were gone, he seemed happy with me but now...I hardly see him.

Nan sighed deeply and leaned towards her from her chair. "Look my lady, I'm telling the same thing again. I'm not holding him or calling him anyway. I'm living my own life and i'm not gonna run away from anyone for your happiness. Of course if it can be called 'happiness' you're just pushing it. " She said trying not to get angry.

I want you to stop sleeping with Charles! Am I clear with that?

I turn on my heels and storm out of her chamber, angrilly mumbling to myself.

Nan looked after her and laughed loudly she could hear that. She walked to door and talked after her "That was clear, was it? Hey where're you going? I was gonna show the poems Charles wrote for me!" She laughed and closed the door.

Margaret walked down the hallway and in the direction of Nan's bedroom, she came to her chambers and simply and lightly knocked on the wooden door, waiting for Nan to open it up.

Nan wasnt expecting Margaret here. She thought Nan needed to go there cause that was what charles said to her. She quickly stood up from her chair, she dropped her book on little table and curtsied deeply. "Your highness.." she said and didnt look up until she talked to her.
