Margaret Wyatt's bedchamber

Margaret giggled "Some new move? Like what?" She asked even if she knew what Gwen meant "Oh he wants to go to Spain..while I suggested Allington Castle. But we have not decided yet.."

I laughed,"You once said you are not as innocent as I thought - I'm sure you understand."

I then added,"Oh Spain would be lovely. Perhaps he wishes to be far from here and I can understand that. As long as you two can find peace with each other and be happy."

Margaret giggled again "Oh yes..yes. I'll show him my secret weapons at the right moment, don't worry.." She winked and she paused for a while "I would love going to Spain too. Lady Alfonsina is still in Italy. But I wrote to her and she gave me permission to go on honeymoon. I am very excited.."

I smiled, genuinely happy for her and her husband. She was so kind and deserved to be happy,"You should be excited! I guess Spain would be lovely at this time of year."

Margaret smiled and she nodded again "Yes I think so. I have never been out of England. But I guess that you visited many places. You look..like a girl who knows the world.." She said, meaning that she looked rather adventurous girl

I laughed - how I wished I was well travelled and had seen the world's splendour,"Not really, I've only been here and in France. I would love to travel one day but it is expensive...and dangerous for a woman on her own."

Margaret nodded with a sweet smile "Oh you need a gentleman who accompany you, then. Someone handsome, kind..and very charming. Is there a man like this in your life, Gwen?" She asked with a teasing tone

I laughed in a good natured way,"You know me better than that - none whatsoever. Besides I could always travel with a cousin or something until I crossed the sea."

Margaret laughed after her "Oh do you have a cousin? It would be nice, yes. But maybe it would be funnier with a man. The other day my best friend got married in the forest. It was so romantic..I wish the same for you, Gewn.." She said sincerely and smiling sweetly

I nodded with a playful grin,"I suppose you would spend less time sightseeing if you had a man with you...but I wouldn't wait for a man to travel. I'd like to go before I'm too old."

I then sighed happily,"Well congratulations to her. It sounds not too dissimilar from my sort of wedding, I wish her every happiness."

Margaret smiled warmly "Oh thank you. She had a complicated relationship too, so she deserves happiness. Are pagan wedding ceremonies similar to this? I mean..in a forest, having direct contact with nature? Both my marriages have been celebrated in church. But I found this so very romantic.." She said with a dreamy air

I nodded,"In almost every case it is outside and in my family's instance, the couples say their vows together in secrecy - it's quite intimate actually. There is then of course the obligatory party and guests but I think there is something very special about comprising your own vows ... seems more genuine."

Margaret listened with interest "It sounds very interesting. But I fear that your pagan culture is not..fully accepted by people at court. Most of them are catholic or protestant. So be careful, Gwen. You could be accused of heresy.." She said with sincere concern leaning softly her hand on her arm

I shrugged,"Why has anyone been threatening to send me to be burnt?"

I laughed a little to conceal my concern,"I cannot lie about my religion - there are martyrs in my faith too."

Margaret shook her head. She feard her words could scare her "Oh and I hope you won't be one of them, Gwen. No..no one threatened you. I know you can't hide your religion, but be careful. I don't wanna lose a such good friend like you are.." She shook her head again but she smiled, this time "Oh! How many silly things I am saying! Nothing bad will happen to you.."

I smiled,"I do not doubt the God's nor what they plan for me. We shall all die one day, Margaret and I do not fear death."

I then sighed theatrically,"But let us not talk of such things - we are young and death is no friend of ours yet."

Margaret giggled and nodded "Yes, you're right. So, what's your plans, Gwen? Will you stay at english court? And..do you have your own room in the infirmary? I had another nurse friend, once. But she came back to Russia. Hope you won't do the same.." She said, not wanting to lose another friend

Margaret nodded "Oh I see. It's so clear that you love your job. So..if I won't feel well I can come to you, right? But I warn you, Gwen. I really hate seeing blood. So never make me a phlebotomy.." She giggled shooking her head

Margaret came back in her bedchamber after meeting that lady in the Hall. Maybe her friend Guinevere was right. Some people are more sensitive than others, so she could feel if trusting in someone or not. That lady gave her a bad impression, even if she didn't know why. She opened her wardrobe and started to prepare lugguages for her honeymoon with Anthony. She couldn't wait to stay away from court for a while with her husband. She needed new fresh air. She was putting her dresses into her suitcase when suddenly she felt a pain in her stomach. She gasped. Bringing her hand on her stomach, she had to stop and she had to sit on bed. She took some deep breaths hoping it could finish soon

Margaret was resting in her room when she heard knoking at the door. She remembered that she was waiting for Sabrina to come. So she came to open the door "Lady Sabrina, welcome! I was waiting for you. Please, come in.." She said smiling and placing an hand upon her belly "Do you wish to drink something before choosing your gown for Coronation? I have wine, fuit juice, ale..and water.." She asked kindly after she came inside

Margaret took some fruit juice and poured it into a glass. Then she gave it to Sabrina before sitting on the sofa next to her. She smiled "Well..if it helps, I think I will, Lady Howard. I am a bit scared, if I can be honest. But I trust in your experiece completely.." She added, trying to hide her fear to lose her child
