Mionetta stood nervously, pacing about the corridor, holding a small glass flask in her hands. She placed it to her lips and let the bitter olive oil run down her throat, and then put it away, and began to warm up her vocal cords, still pacing nervously. She had dressed for her first performance at court, and had warmed up hours earlier, and yet she found herself shaking. A servant of the king came forward, and she knew it was time. She followed him back into the great hall, faking a large smile to calm her nerves as she was brought to the center of the room, the guests of the coronation watching her.
She stood before the king and queen, and though the king made her very nervous, she swept into a deep curtsey, not looking up until she was spoken to. "If I may, your majesty's, present a song in her majesty's tongue, in honor of this joyous and historic occasion?" she smiled, still remaining in her curtsey.

He shouted at musicians, raising his right hand. Then he glanced at Eleanor and took her white, cold hand in his. She was going to listen a song in her language, spanish!

Inge shook her head while smiling and raised from her curtsy
"No, Your Highness. I heard Spain is beautiful, but I have never been there. And yes...I live here in Bavaria. As lady in waiting to lady Anne of Cleves. The castle in which I live...is not too far from here, my lord..."
She smiled warmly and glanced at the singer, who was standing in front of King Richard and Queen Eleanor

Mionetta nodded to the lute player, one of her friend's from Venice, and she watched him as he began to pluck his strings.
Mionetta took a deep breath, "This song is called De los alamos vengo, madre" she spoke. She gave a smile and held her arms out wide as she normally stood, as though to welcome their majesties and the entire room:
She took a deep breath as she finished and gave a deep curtsey, rising to her feet to bow with the lute and fife players.
