| I walked outside to garden maze to see the little blooms that are emerging here and there.Anxious for spring, I take pleasure in each of their tiny displays of longer days, warmer weather, and the approach of spring.I smiled and continued to walk through garden. | |

| Jane walked through the gardens and she smiled as she was hit with the French sun she so long desired. Tilting her head back she closed her eyes gently as she continued walking, feeling at ease. | |

| (With Anne Heilly)
Pierpont moved his first pawn forward, stifling a cough as the weight on his stomach pressed against the green grass of the garden maze. Normally, he would have chosen a proper seat to play the game, yet he had missed simply lying in the grass like such a long time ago. Pierpont knew if his mother had seen him, she would have a fit, commenting how proper men did not lie on their stomachs, playing games, yet he did not care, he much rather liked this sort of private freedom. Pierpont blew away a strand of hair, though the rest sat tied back by his usual black ribbon, as he concentrated...

| ooc- Sorry only just seen this.
Walking through the garden maze trying to weigh up everything that had gone on recently at court i turned the corner of the maze and saw a man laying on the grass my first thought was that he was either injured or being lazy. Tip toeing closer towards him i picked up a little stone and gently threw it on his chess board. Check Mate I walked over and layed on my front opposite him resting my chin in my palm. So monseiur what brings you here did your mother not tell you about grass stains I said playfully noticing a black ribbon tied in his hair

| Pierpont's concentration was broken as a little pebble slid across the board, and his head turned quickly as he caught sight of a young woman lying down across from him. Normally, he would have found it inappropriate, yet he found himself smiling at her as she questioned his strange position in the garden.
Pierpont gave a laugh, placing a hand under his chin as he tilted his head. "I should ask you the same, mademoiselle," he raised an eyebrow, jesting. He pushed forward a pawn, looking down at the board again, momentarily. "Besides, I fear grass stains are the least of her worries."
He looked up at her, "And you, my lady. What brings you here to this-," he waved a hand, looking about the desserted and quiet maze, "far away place?" he laughed.

| I had no idea how to play chess so I simply watched. Should I even ask whom you may be? As for why I am here the peace mainly I do alot of my letter writing in the maze along with thinking so now you're turn I curiously knocked over one of his chess pieces trying to figure out if he was a man full of passion or just boring. | |

| Strolling through the garden maze, alone with her thoughts, she runs into Anne and Sir Guyot. Oh, Je suis tellement désolé...I didn't mean to interrupt. She turns to walk away. | |

| Pierpont gave a smile. He pushed himself off the ground and stood to his feet, bending over into a bow, lowering his head. "Pierpont Guyot, mademoiselle," he smiled up at her. Pierpont lowered himself back upon the ground, "And yourself?" he raised an eyebrow.
Pierpont laughed, "I too find this place to be the only quiet area of court. I'm here to concentrate-," he stopped as she knocked over one of the pieces. Pierpont frowned, holding up a finger, sternly, "You're distracting me-."
His frown turned into a smile as he laughed, "-good. I need such distractions to test my concentration," he spoke, moving the piece away. He moved another piece, "And who do you find yourself writing such letters to, if you do not mind my asking?"

| Oh how very kind of you Juliette! I am just very happy to have finally met another lady in waiting at court I started to walk with Juliette into the maze smiling as the early onset of the sun appeared. So Juliette did you get the pleasure in growing up here? My grandmother sent me here so I could become a useful lady in waiting to whom ever needed one I wish I could move my family here | |

| "My parents sent me to court when I became a woman, just like my older siblings were sent away when they became of age." I remember the pain I felt even though I didn't show it when I left home "Yes, France is very beautiful in all seasons, especially in the countryside." I smile "I am so thankful for the kind and gentleness that the Queen has." | |

| I was happy to see her smile. Why it is mighty fine and no shame to enjoy oneself at court the French have many festive things going on. Say dear Juliette how about we go into the kitchen and I can make you some comforts sugared petals and marchpane treats with a nice warm goblet of wine I wanted this uneasiness to pass for her and I was willing to try some home comforts. | |

| A lot had happened over the last couple of months. I finally thought I would get a peaceful and well rested autumn but that was not meant to be. I walked for awhile until I finally laid eye's on the person whom I was meeting. "Thank you for coming. Out of all the people at the court I think you have enough expertise in the matter." I kept my glance away while I spoke so if anyone saw us they wouldn't think anything suspicious. | |
