As we walk, I cannot help but to notice that she is acting a bit odd, like something is wrong with her. I immediately grab onto her and help her sit on the ground. I ask for one of my ladies to bring me water for the Lady Inge. Are you alright? You do not look so good.

Inge sat slowly on the ground helped by Francesca and she shook her head

"I am...alright. It happens very often recently. I wake up with nausea and I feel bad since days. I think..I think I could be with child.."

She added whispering looking at her face

I shake my head with a stunned look on my face, Pardon me for sounding so intrusive but who is the father and does he know? Do you need to see a physician? I take the cup of water from one of my ladies and hand it to her gently. Here....drink this. I smile, From what you have described, it seems as if you are with child. I was exactly like this when I was with child myself with my daughter.

Inge drank from water she gave her and sighed deeply. She looked hesitantly at her face and nodded

"Yes...I think I'm with child. But the father doesn't know about it, yet.."

She took a breath and looked at her water

"The father is...King Fernando, Your Highness. Your father.."

She admitted whispering, fearing her reaction

Now this isn't what I have been expecting but yet it doesn't surprise me either. My father was always a ladies man but usually was so careful with the women. I take a deep breath and look at her, You must tell him my lady. He has a right to know.

"I'm afraid, Your Highness. He is the King..and this is just a bastard child. I fear his reaction.."

She said sincerely raising her glance to her

I shake my head, You would be surprised My Lady. My father loves children and I know that he wants a son more than anything in this world. So please go and tell him and I bet his reaction will surprise you. I say with a wink. I feel bad for her though in a sense. My father is always busy with women and may not pay attention to her until he finds out if she gave him a son or not.

Inge took a breath and tried to stand up slowly

"Do you really think so, Your Highness? And...what about you? I'm carrying your brother or sister, after all.."

She asked with soft voice, placing her hand against wall

I gently place my arms underneath her arms and softly help her stand back up. Feeling any better now? You must take care of yourself. If you would like, I could give you any tips and pointers. I place her hand on my arms and we continue to walk around. I am quite stunned yet I am very happy to be welcoming a sibling into my family. I have been an only child for way too long now.

Inge kept on walking towards Palace with her and felt surprised by her words. She smiled

"Do you think...that King's niece will react in the same way, Your Highness? I heard that Queen Anne is at Palace, and very close to her uncle.."

She said shyly, wanting to know the consequences of her pregnancy

Oh Anne? I have no idea on how she will react. Your guess is as good as mine. I fear that she is too much like her mother. I sigh and as we continue, a servant approaches me and hands me a note. I read it and I immediately start jumping for joy. I get to go and see my daughter. This is most wonderful news! I get to see my Madeleine!

Inge looked at the note and then at her happy face. She smiled

"Oh...that's a wonderful news, Your Highness. I'm so happy for you. Does this means you'll go to Navarre soon?"

She asked smiling

I smile so big that I swear people in England could see it. I will travel to Navarre on my way to England for a trip. This has been the best news that I have received since my banishment. I let out a huge sigh of relief...

It was a beautiful sunny day and Francesca decided to go for a short walk. The palace has many beautiful places, but she loved one place which she decided to go. She didn't know why, but it was her favorite. Slowly she walked and softly sang a song which she had known since childhood.

Taking half a day of Athena wanted to catch some of this beautiful sun on her skin she was looking rather pale or maybe that was what love did to a woman. Athena ran her hands through the ripe grapes ready to be made into such tasteful wine turning the bend she noticed a familiar face it would be rude to ignore her no matter who she was Athena called out to her. Hello Francesca you are back in Italy once more I hope that all is well.

Francesca stopped to sing and looked at the woman closely. She was so familiar. She took a breath and then smiled. Francesca remembered that she is Athena.

"Athena, it's wonderful to see you."

She walked closer and smiled at her pleasantly.

"Oh yes, I'm back home. I missed the Italian surroundings and sun. I'm fine and you? To be honest, you look ravishing."

Athena gave her a pleasant smile as she spoke. One has to look their best when you have a King for a lover. The idea of leaving Italy has never appealed to me. Athena placed a shawl over her hair to protect it from the sun. You have been everywhere though will your stay in Italy be longer this time.

Francesca was very surprised when heard that Athena is the mistress of the King. She had never met with the fact that someone would say it so openly.

"This is a surprise for me, but I believe that there are certain advantages. I hope that I find a suitable husband for me."

She really liked Athena's scarf. She had a penchant for beautiful things.

"Now I'll stay in Italy. I gotta find a husband and future king of Tuscany. To be honest, I haven't great pleasure that my traveling is over."

Athena nodded their wasn't really enough men in Italy nowadays it was like a drought they all fled to England. Do you have anyone in mind nobody is lucky enough to marry for love. The action as they say is all at the English court people are flocking their to see Anne Boleyn have you had the chance to meet her. Athena plucked a grape it was so sweet that she had to remove it from her mouth.

Francesca shook her head. She hadn't a suitor and didn't believe that she could marry of love.

"Unfortunately no. I don't have any suitors yet.

Francesca realized that the name of Anne Boleyn already heard. She thought that King Henry is probably in love. All the gossip to get to Tuscany and wasn't surprised that the new love of the English king was known.

"About Anne I've heard. Allegedly she isn't popular. But the king undoubtedly loves her. I would like to know her. Maybe I could visit England."

Athena gave her a sympathetic look Royals were not allowed to marry for love and on the very rare occasion that they did turmoil and scandal dragging the names of both through the dirt. I hear many things about Anne Boleyn do I believe them no I don't. A king has the right to marry who ever he likes. If you look back in history King Henry's grandfarther Edward married Elizabeth Woodville that is a story of love. Athena lost herself in the story of them both Edward had defined many people by marrying Elizabeth even his most trusting servant Warwick known formerly as the King maker. When her highness spoke of going to England Athena sulked a little inside. Yes go and if you meet Anne Boleyn give her my support aswell. I have duties here but will you write me about England. Who was she intending to go with she needed someone from the English court.

Francesca heard in Athena's voice strong support. It seemed to her that Lady Anne Boleyn must be really amazing woman. She wanted to know her more.

"Yes, you're right. It's just so beautiful when the Royals are in love. I know this and most beautiful at this is a thing that it's true. The King needn't ask the opinion of others, he will do what he sees fit."

When she heard that Athena would like to go to England too, it seemed like a good idea.

"What a pity that you can't go with me. I don't know when I'll can go, but I would as soon as possible. But wait... I could try to ask your Duchess, or what she has title, if she can miss you for a few days. But I don't know whether she'll agree."

She smiled conspiratorially and recognize that is a good idea.

I was taken aback at how changed Francesca was. Oh I would love to go with you but I am only just started my position here in Italy and I would hate to be dismissed I can't go back on the streets again.... I took a deep breath feeling my silky dress. If you do go you must tell me about the fashion at the English court
