Wolsey arrived by boat as all prisoners arrived by boat, he watched the place he never liked, not even at happy events as a coronation. He sat quietly but this time people did not scold him, they screamed his name but only to encourage him and he could only nod in grattitude for their support.

It was almost dark as he finally climbed out of the boat and he recognized William Kingston approaching him.
´Master Kingston.´ he said and nodded at him.

As I help secure the boat and I see our first prisoner arrive, I look at him still not knowing what his charges are. When he says my name I look at him Cardinal or is it Thomas now I say with a amusing tone in my voice your chamber or cell is ready I shall take you there and I send one of the kitchen staff up with food. You will rest tonight and I will speak with you tomorrow as I wave the guards to take him

He took a deep breath to avoid showing his fear by seeing Kingston, remembering it had been foretold that he would meet his death at Kingston. He even managed to smile and raised an eyebrow.

´You can call me as you please, Master Kingston, but I am still a Cardinal indeed!´ he said, pleased by the light tone in Kingstons voice.
He waved his chained hands to the guards.
´Please, let me walk by myself. I won´t escape anyway.´ he said to keep his last shred of dignity.

He always knew that Kingston was the best man for this job as he proved to be once more.
He nodded shortly and started to walk, relieved at least that the guards no longer pushed and pulled him but walked beside him while they held his arms in a light grip.
