Anne listen attentively to Inge's answer, frowing, getting even more intrigued about Hildegarde, notably about talking to the moon, while remaining scepitcal about her being a witch because she think that there can be rational explanations.
I see ... you know myself I have cross her some day, she had a basket full of herbs and she told me that she was looking for others herbs, I hadn't ask her for what looked for herbs ... but I think that she could also be a kind of medicine woman who make medicinales infusions that she sell to people more or less uner-the-table, maybe precisely for don't be suspected of making witchcraft with it.
She reflect and continue.
About her talking to the moon, if it's true, I admit that it's weird ... but it isn't a proof of witchery, she may have some supertitions about the moon, many people have weird suspertitions, many of them are inherited from pagans.
She wash herself with saponaire and a sponge, still reflecting about Hildegarde, wanting to find out if there is really elements of proof that could make her believe that she is a witch and add.
Tell me, does your grandmother or someone else have accuse her for something of bad that could have happen to someone in the village or in the region ?

Inge sighed deeply. She thought for a while, before answering
"Uhm...one day a woman in my village fell seriously ill. She healed in few months...but people said that ...that woman brought evil and sickness in my village. Yes, maybe she is a pagan. But I suggest you to stay away from her, Anne..."
She said worriedly, looking at her

Anne frown and bite her lip, reflecting, feeling that she still can't believe that this beautiful woman could be a witch, thinking that this illness could surely has been explained rationally, many people get ill after all, especially village people who have muchmore difficult life than here at the palace.
Uh, I must tell that I remain sceptical, I know from experience that you can feel when someone is a bad person who have bad intentions toward you, I have yet cross weird people in woods, but I have feel nothing of bad emanate from her when I have see her, I think that she may be a medicine woman, maybe even a bit a pagan but not a witch ...
She take a deep breath and add.
Anyway, thank you for your advice, I will keep what you told me in mind and remain careful if I see her again ... but I am not worried.

Inge smiled and brought her a long cloth to wrap her body after bath
"Alright, Anne. But promise me to be careful. If she would come to Palace, I would be rather worried for you..."

Anne get put the tub and take the cloth that Inge handle to her and wrapp it around her, then smile in hearing her recommandation, feeling invulnerable and fearless.
Of course, I will be careful, I am always careful.
She can't refrain a happy smile at the idea of Hildegarde being at court, seeing her image in her head.
Oh, don't worry ... I understand your fears since your grandmother told you that she is a witch, I would be feared too if someone told me that, but as I told you, I don't believe that it's true, I think it's a good lady ... and if ever she come at court, I am sure that there will not problem.
She reflect and shake her head.
No, I don't heard about it ... and usually it's our parents a who care of the christmas celebrations, my brother being only 13 I would be surprised that my parents give him such a responsability ... but maybe my father have decice that it was time to implicate him more in the affairs of the kingdom, who know ?

I smiled to her. ''And I am happy to be with you.'' I put the small wet handkerchief over her forehead to try to lower her temperature.''Of course I can...'' I paused for moment and then began to speak again.''On a cold December night, everybody was coming to see their new Savior and brought Him all kinds of gifts and presents. The three Wise Men came in with their valuable gifts of myrrh, frankincense and gold and offered them to Baby Jesus. At that point, a shepherdess, Madelon, who had seen the wise men passing through, reached the door of the stable, to see the Child. However, being very poor and having brought nothing to offer to the child, she felt helpless and started weeping quietly at the sight of all the wonderful gifts that the Three Wise Men had got for the child. Earlier, she had searched, in vain, for flowers all over the countryside but there was not even a single bloom to be found in the bitter winter. An angel outside the door was watching over her and knew about her fruitless search. He took pity on her and, when he saw her head drooped down in sorrow, decided to help her with a little miracle. He gently brushed aside the snow at her feet and where her tears had fallen, sprang a beautiful cluster of waxen white winter roses with pink tipped petals. Then he softly whispered into the shepherdess's ear that these Christmas roses are far more valuable than any myrrh, frankincense or gold, for they are pure and made of love. The maiden was pleasantly surprised when she heard those words and joyfully gathered the flowers and offered them to the Holy Infant, who, seeing that the gift was reared with tears of love, smiled at her with gratitude and satisfaction. Thus, the Christmas rose came to symbolize hope, love and all that is wonderful in this season.''

Anne feel a bit relieved as her sister place the wet handkerchief on her forehead, she smile and listen attentively to the story, recognizing the characters, moved by what happen with the young girl.
It's very beautiful story, sister, I never heard about it, theses winter roses must be very beautiful, I would like to see ones some day ... but I suppose that it must be even more rare than unicornes and nymphs, since it's heavenly gift.
A smile appear on her very pale face.
But their symbol is very beautiful too, it's show that you don't need to be rich for can bring some joy to other people, you can bring them even more things if you have a good heart and a pure soul. Don't you think so ?
She place her hand over her mouth and couch loudly.

Anne smile.
I never seen any winter roses and don't know anyone you would have yet see ones, so I think that they are very rares indeed, but I hope to have the chance to see winter roses some day.
She nodd.
It's true, even if having at last a little of money is necessary, but it isn't the most important, after all you can't buy your place in Heaven, all the money all the world isn't of any help for our soul's fate. While if you are devoted and loyal our lord, don't commit sins and love other people, you can be sure to be happy eternally.
