"Elizabeth," I said quietly as I approached her. "How are you these days?"

"Of course sister. Is something on your mind?" I sat on a dry patch of land on the lake's shore.

I took Elizabeth's question seriously, pondering it in my mind before answering. "I think love is possible, though for people like us it is improbable. Luck has much to do with it. Why do you ask?" I placed my hand on her shoulder as we walked.

I looked at him with tears filling my eyes But I very much love my count he is my first and last love it's like our hearts are connected like a chain that warms our very bodies together and when you edward find your true love you shall live in a blissful union I smiled warmly wondering if he he was as happy Brother I wish for you to be happy like me are you not happy edward after your first wife I thought you might have found joy together I was in hopes of becoming a bridesmaid.Making love can bring two people together it connects you not just physically but emotionally and it makes you feel so alive

"Do you doubt already that I have a true love?" I teased her. But I did blush after she suggested I make love to my wife-to-be. "Perhaps, but is that not a sin, to make love before I make her my lawfully wedded wife?"

Then I am full of sin and very manipulative too I was certain he would want me as his wife but making love is something different you connect and it's like nothing in this world matters but the two of you locked in this moment so yes maybe I am asking you to commit sin if it's good enough for the king then it's good enough for the rest of us I smiled realizing it sounded wrong but felt so right

"Calm down, sister," I said soothingly. "And anyway, that part of my life is private. I certainly would not advise you to sleep with the count, though I think you admitted already that you have. Don't you worry what Father and Mother would say?"

I pondered his question for awhile I truly didn't care I was not even hysterical so why he was trying to soothe me was beyond me oh I would rather be with him than with a family that are trying to sell me of to some hideous wealth obsessed weakling of a man

Shaking my head in annoyance I gave him a long stare I have a question why are the Seymour men so unhappy when they are married! I sincerely hope you will be happy and find no need for a mistress she oozes wealth going to be a big old grand wedding when you marry and your children will have wealthy bloodlines! I am excited about this union

I nodded slowly, wondering why she diverged from my question. "I thank you, sincerely from the bottom of my heart. I know you want my happiness and of course Anne's happiness as well. To answer your question, I have no idea that anyone in our family is unhappy. In fact, if I may speak bluntly, you seem to be the one who is restless," I said quietly, reaching for her hand.

"Where has he gone?" I asked squeezing her hand in reassurance. I thought if he left without any promise or plans to return, he'd have to face me and it would not be a happy moment.

I squeezed Edwards hand he was much more understanding and lovely Ah well the French queen wanted to meet him and it would of been rude of him to have said no but as farther said don't trust the French! I bit my tongue after that and rubbed his arm Sorry edward I shall try not to mention farther again. I know lady Stanhope would not do such a thing as she is too armoured with you and is eager enough to do what ever it takes to make you happy

I chuckled lightly. "No, don't trust the French," I repeated. Sighing as she mentioned our father, I gave a half-smile at her. "Father..well I know Anne is different. She does truly love me and I love her." I felt myself blushing at the thought and knowing I looked ridiculous blushing I brought the subject back to her. "I don't think you need to worry about Niklaus. A man will stay faithful if his heart loves true."

"Perhaps you don't have to give him up entirely. You don't know, perhaps he is just as heartsick as you are right now. But while he is away and you don't know where the two of you stand just now, enjoy your time with others. Find diversions to get him off your mind. And when he comes back, if he comes looking for you then you will have your answer."

I contemplated meeting with Father again. I doubted the old man even remembered my first wife anymore. I took a deep breath and sighed. "I suppose it could do no harm," I replied, smiling at Lizzie.

"I shall leave it to you to arrange it," I said, relenting. "I suppose if Father cannot meet him it is up to me." I smiled to see how eager she was for us to meet.
