Jane watched her soon to be sister-in-law. She was so charming and beautiful. Jane wished that she could be more like her. She wondered where George was.

I walked back into the party determined to not let my fragile marriage get to me.

Blanche enters the party with a gentle smile one her face. Her long, brown virginal locks fall about her face. She curtsies to courtiers, lords, and ladies. Her time is coming where she is to serve the Queen. Her dress was a lovely topaz colour. Her father, Lord Maslow, was a wealthy landowner. She did not see him often since she had come to court, but he had missed being in the countryside. The city of London was so busy, but she did love the events. The parties were so much fun. She glanced around for some people that she knew. She was sure that she noticed a gentleman that looked familiar, but she put it out of her mind. She was ready to dance.

I am walking about the party, feeling slightly buzzed from all the wine I have drank so far. I just happen to look IP and see a familiar face and I am shocked!! I decide to approach her and as I do, the look of surprise on her face says it all.

The man decided to approach Blanche. Her heart almost stopped. Is it who she thought it was? He looked so much like the young Francis she had met at her family's estate. Could it be? Blanche curtsied politely as he approached. "Hello Sir.." She smiled. In a moment she thought about Francis from before. It frightened her a little. She had known him very well, but things had gotten sour. She did not know if she could stand talking to him again.

I look at her a long while before I finally remembered her name. She was Blanche Maslow, the young English woman that was captured by French forces a few years ago then given to my family. I personally brought her back to England but not before spending a few passionate nights together making love endlessly. We were each others firsts. I bow my head, "Hello Blanche."

As soon as he said her name, Blanche cringed. She remembered how she had been kidnapped and rescued. She wanted to forget that part of her past. She had no intention of getting involved in that again. "Your Majesty," she blushed. She had not seen Francis for years. It was all coming back to her now. She was given as a prisoner to his family, but now she was free..or she hoped. It was ridiculous, but she had fallen in love with him, but then he brought her back to England. She was grateful to be back home, but he had left her. He had used her innocence and tossed it aside. What did he want? "It is so lovely to see you, Your Grace. I hope all is well. If you would excuse me..." She remembered how she heard that he married. It broke her heart. Why would he come up and talk to her now? Did he want to throw it in her face?

"Wait Blanche, where are you going? " I turn to run after her. Why was she running from me?

Blanche turned around. She was a little nervous. "I apologize, but I am feeling unwell all of the sudden...Forgive me..."

"Is it because of me? " Long ago I loved Blanche, perhaps I still do. She was so beautiful then and very radiant now. I wanted to marry her as soon as I first laid eyes in her but my family shot that down quick.

Blanche didn't want to talk to him. "It is not that. I have been ill with pains in my head all day. It seems to be worsening now..." She forced a smile as she started to turn away again. "It was lovely to see you again, Francis.." Blanche curtsied and said goodbye to some of the other courtiers. She was running to her room. "I am just going to my bedchamber to rest for a bit..."

She runs away and I stand there briefly in awe. I look yo my valet and asked him to direct me to her room.

As quickly as Nan heard King's voice she turned her face to him and smiled wide. She quickly bowed him and didnt put her head up until he talks to her. She looked back into his eyes with respect.

"Your majesty. It is so nice to see you again. I'd be honored..."

She said with a surprised voice and joined him at his table. She could feel the curious eyes on her. It was not an ordinary thing to join the king at dinner. She sat down carefully and looked at him with a smile

"You look so good my lord."

Anne started to dance with Mark. He was very kind and sweet. Anne impressed by Mark. He was a good friend for her. She was constantly laughing. She was the most happy at the court. She asked while romping around him

"Have you gotten used to the court, Master Smeaton?"

As we entered the Ball Queen Anne Boleyn was dancing with a very handsome man, Charles was also dancing, the King was talking to a young woman, Katherine was also there she was following her husband with her eyes, there were a lot of beautiful women as well, the music was very good and I turned to Charlotte
"Will you dance with me my Love" and I winked smiling at her

"Why of course, darling," she replied, and allowed him to take her to the dance floor. eager to show off her favorite skills.

When the music started I grabbed her towards me, and danced "You dance very elegant, very light" I smiled at her looking to her shining eyes.
"Is there something new that I do not know?" we were talking while we danced

She smiled, feeling the buzz from the room, the joyous air in the room and looked at her husband. "You know I absolutely love to dance! Perhaps the difference you see is my newfound happiness." She twirled and stepped in time with the other dancers, keeping with the rhythm gracefully.

Mark smiled shaking his head as he turned Anne around. Well the court is never dull neither gloomy when you seem to be around people you alighten this very room! Having Thomas Wyatt as a friend has made moving to court easy but having you as a friend is very much a blessing as I don't have to hide my cheerfulness when around you. Taking Anne by the hand like the other dancers around them he pulled her to him then away again as was the custom of this dance

Re-entering I glide towards my brother; smiling graciously attempting to hide my deep sadness. I fall into a curtsey and rise elegantly.
"Henry, darling...." I smile faintly and cast my gaze around the room; searching for my husband. "I have something to tell you..."
