Margaret looked at Elizabeth with a confused face "Oh sorry, but you see..I don't know your family very well. You have so many siblings while I just have Thomas.." She smiled and suddenly she saw Anthony entering the Hall. He was staring at her and she couldn't avoid to blush and smiling weakly

Henry saw Anne dancing with a man. Probably the new musician he heard talking about. While musicians were playing a volta, he saw Nan Saville entering the Hall. He knew she was far from court, that's why he asked her presence there. He smiled and called her
Lady Nan! Would you please to make me happy joining my table?
At the same time, he noticed that Charles finished his dance with a lady and gestured him to come too

| Blanche enters the party with a gentle smile one her face. Her long, brown virginal locks fall about her face. She curtsies to courtiers, lords, and ladies. Her time is coming where she is to serve the Queen. Her dress was a lovely topaz colour. Her father, Lord Maslow, was a wealthy landowner. She did not see him often since she had come to court, but he had missed being in the countryside. The city of London was so busy, but she did love the events. The parties were so much fun. She glanced around for some people that she knew. She was sure that she noticed a gentleman that looked familiar, but she put it out of her mind. She was ready to dance. | |

| I am walking about the party, feeling slightly buzzed from all the wine I have drank so far. I just happen to look IP and see a familiar face and I am shocked!! I decide to approach her and as I do, the look of surprise on her face says it all. | |

| The man decided to approach Blanche. Her heart almost stopped. Is it who she thought it was? He looked so much like the young Francis she had met at her family's estate. Could it be? Blanche curtsied politely as he approached. "Hello Sir.." She smiled. In a moment she thought about Francis from before. It frightened her a little. She had known him very well, but things had gotten sour. She did not know if she could stand talking to him again. | |

| I look at her a long while before I finally remembered her name. She was Blanche Maslow, the young English woman that was captured by French forces a few years ago then given to my family. I personally brought her back to England but not before spending a few passionate nights together making love endlessly. We were each others firsts. I bow my head, "Hello Blanche." | |

| As soon as he said her name, Blanche cringed. She remembered how she had been kidnapped and rescued. She wanted to forget that part of her past. She had no intention of getting involved in that again. "Your Majesty," she blushed. She had not seen Francis for years. It was all coming back to her now. She was given as a prisoner to his family, but now she was free..or she hoped. It was ridiculous, but she had fallen in love with him, but then he brought her back to England. She was grateful to be back home, but he had left her. He had used her innocence and tossed it aside. What did he want? "It is so lovely to see you, Your Grace. I hope all is well. If you would excuse me..." She remembered how she heard that he married. It broke her heart. Why would he come up and talk to her now? Did he want to throw it in her face? | |

| Blanche didn't want to talk to him. "It is not that. I have been ill with pains in my head all day. It seems to be worsening now..." She forced a smile as she started to turn away again. "It was lovely to see you again, Francis.." Blanche curtsied and said goodbye to some of the other courtiers. She was running to her room. "I am just going to my bedchamber to rest for a bit..." | |

She quickly bowed him and didnt put her head up until he talks to her. She looked back into his eyes with respect. "Your majesty. It is so nice to see you again. I'd be honored..."
She said with a surprised voice and joined him at his table. She could feel the curious eyes on her. It was not an ordinary thing to join the king at dinner. She sat down carefully and looked at him with a smile "You look so good my lord."

Oh...I just do my best, Madame Justyne. What brings you at english court?
"He asked following carefully dance's steps" Your Grace, I have distant relatives here in England who are trying to help me. I have recently become a widow and it seems everyone is after my land and titles. My husband's family and the neighboring Duchies. I need to have Roi François to correct the wrong that has been done to me. So in the mean time I am enjoying your festivities and if I so happen to make friends to help me with Roi François; that would make me forever grateful.
"Charles listened her carefully. After making her turn around herself he met her eyes again"
Oh...King Francis and I are good friends. The King sent me in France several times in the past. I'm sorry for your husband. But...if I can do something for you, don't hesitate to ask. Francis is a good man and he won't refuse me a favour. Especially if this is about a beautiful lady...
"He smiled and once the music stopped everyone clapped around them. He bowed to greet her but he took her hand once more time and kissed it"
Thank you for allowing me this honour, Madame. Hope you'll remain in England enough. I'd like to meet you again...
"Once finished his sentence he noticed Nan in the Hall and also the King, who was clearly requiring his presence. Then he walked quickly towards Royal Table smiling at Nan while walking. He bowed"
Your Majesty...

| Justyne was overwhelmed by his Grace's kindness and willingness to help a stranger. It seemed all
the complimentary things she had heard about the duke of Suffolk were true. " Your Grace, I will
always be in your debt if you could help me with my roi. You are too kind my Lord. Thank you for
this delightful dance. I do hope we will see each other again your Grace." She curtsies as he leaves
her, grateful for the help of a man as powerful as the duke of Suffolk. Justyne's eyes follow as the
duke leaves and hopes that she would have the chance to enjoy his company again.

Well the court is never dull neither gloomy when you seem to be around people you alighten this very room! Having Thomas Wyatt as a friend has made moving to court easy but having you as a friend is very much a blessing as I don't have to hide my cheerfulness when around you. Taking Anne by the hand like the other dancers around them he pulled her to him then away again as was the custom of this dance [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
