Blanche Rose Maslow's Chamber

After seeing Francis, Blanche had to escape from the party. She could not see him again. She could not relive the pain that he had put her through. She had loved him, but she nothing more than a concubine to him. She rushed into the chamber and laid on her bed. She sighed and closed her eyes.

After a while, I show up to her chambers and I open the doors without knocking and I dismiss all my servants and valets. We are alone now. I walk over to her and speak, "Did you think that I wouldn't follow you? " Memories of our lovemaking comes flooding back and this overwhelming urge to be with her again begins to take me over but I attempt to shake it off.

Blanche jumped up from her bed. "How dare you show up unannounced..." Blanche stared at him with hatred. He had humiliated her after all those years. "You could have fooled me. When I was given as a prize to your family, I never thought I would be able to see my family again. You brought me back to my family and I was very grateful for that you returned me. Yet, you left me. You returned me and I thought you would stay in England, but you didn't. What should I say to you now?"

I clear my throat, "Blanche, do you know that I loved you then and I love you now still? My love for you has never faded. From the moment I first saw you I wanted to marry you and make you my Princess." I take a deep breath, "My family wouldn't allow me to stay and sent an escort to bring me back to Navarre. So don't you dare think that I left of my own free will. I wanted you! "

I laugh, "You won't be serving the Queen. You will be serving my wife Katherine. " I walk just a bit closer and then pull her to me as I run my fingers through her hair. "Just because I am married doesn't mean that I cannot be in the company of another woman."

Blanche stared at him blankly. "I do not wish to serve YOUR wife or anyone near you. I am of England and in England I intend to say. Just because I was given to you once does not mean I belong to you!" Blanche wrenched free from his hands. She was annoyed with him. Then a thought dawned on her. Could he come and take her whenever he pleased? There was no paperwork drawn up for her freedom. He just brought her back; probably beyond his father's wishes.

"Since o am now a brother in law to the King, he grants me what I wish." I step back from her, "I let you go once, I won't do it again."

"Your wife is the King's sister? I cannot believe this is happening. Let go of me!" Blanche was angry and slapped him on the face. She had wanted to do that for so long. "You shouldn't have let me go before. I shall not make this easy for you!" Blanche screamed at him. Hot tears began to fall.

"I DIDNT WANT TO LET YOU GO!!! " I scream out, "I had no choice! "

"You are a man! Men always have choices. It is the woman who have none." Blanche still had resentment towards the man she once loved. "I don't know how you intend to take me out of here against my will..." She glared at him.

"I plan on it as soon as I leave for Navarre. " I close the gap between us and I pull her in for a deep and passionate kiss and I melt into it. I pull away, "I have missed that. " I back away slowly.

Blanche laughed. "Do you intend to chain me up as your prisoner too? Do I still, by law, belong to your family?" Blanche had to ask it. Her heart was beating so fast. The kiss was pleasant, but Blanche quickly pulled away.

"You still legally belong to my family and your family knows it. " I look around the room in an attempt to distract myself from my thoughts....I hate seeing her in anguish.

Blanche was so angry. She didn't like that she still belonged to him. "I hate this and I am not fond of you at all!"

"If you weren't fond of me then why did we spend those passionate nights together." I smile and continue, "We used to stare at the stars and dream of our future together. " I take a deep breath, "Katherine will be happy with her new last."

Blanche walked over to the small window in her chamber. She glanced out at the courtyard and the stars in the sky. "I used to be fond of you, but then I had to forget about you. You married another. I was not going to pine away for you. Now, you come into my life and are trying to disrupt in again. You are using pretty words and your power to subdue me." She smiled quietly to herself. She remembered how they loved the stars. "There were many times I looked up at those stars and cried. When I stopped crying, I knew I was free. Now, I shall be in your shackles once more." Blanche took a deep breath and returned to her bed.

"I know I have no say in this, but know that I do not wish to go to Spain. It breaks my heart, but as I still belong to your family, I must do my duty..."

I smile as it seems she is starting to crack, her feeling for me starting to resurface. "I can clearly tell that you are still fond of me as I am still fond of you." I look about the room before looking ay her with sincerity, "You will love Navarre Blanche and I know that you will be a wonderful lady for Katherine. " In this moment, I wonder why I left her. Those feeling now have fully risen to the surface. My face clearly shows it. "Would you like to be left alone for a while? " I signal for guards to stand outside her room without her knowing.

Blanche began to pace the room back and forth. Her mind was clouded with confusing thoughts. How could she handle this? She really didn't want to leave England. "When do we leave? How long do I have in my home?"
Blanche ignored him when she said she would enjoy living in Spain and how she would like serving Katherine. "The only thing good about serving Katherine is that she is MY KING's sister. At least, she has English blood..." Blanche started to cry.

"Yes, I would like to be left alone for a bit.." If he left her, maybe she could run away. Maybe, she could run back to her family's estate. Maybe, she could hide there. She had no idea their were guards stationed there.

"Then I shall leave you for a while." With that I bow my head in respect and leave the room. I tell the guards that she isn't to leave her chambers until I return not long from now.

As soon as Francis leaves, Blanche readied herself to run away. She did not want to go with Francis and she wanted to be free. She decided to sneak out the door. She opens it carefully, but before she can go further...a gruff voice says "My Lady, His Majesty, Prince Francis, has ordered that you stay secure in this chamber until he returns..."
Blanche blinked her eyes. She was furious. She said nothing and ran back into the bedroom. She threw herself on the bed and wept. What was she going to do?

I walk back into Blanche 's chambers alone. I have this need to see her again.

Blanche cried bitterly on the bed. She had no idea Francis was returning. Her eyes were red for she had tried to escape. She knew that Francis would not be pleased with that.

I see Blanche crying on her bed and my heart begins to break. I loved her long ago and love her still. I sit down on her bed and gather her into my arms, gently caressing her hair. [color=#33ffff]I am so sorry....[/color]
