Inge was told to bring dinner in Prince Philip's chamber. She knew he was Valery's brother but she never met him. Holding the tray in her hands, she knocked at his door

"Your Highness..your dinner. May I come in?"

I am sitting comfortably in a chair next to the fire when someone Knicks in my chamber doors. Come in... I say a bit loudly as I sit straighter in my chair. A beautiful lady walks in with a tray of food and instantly I smile.

Inge entered and put the tray on the table. She saw a young man sitting and she curtsied deeply. She thought that he was different, maybe older and not so much attractive. But she had to admit that he was very handsome

"Your Highness..I'm sorry to disturb you. I hope you like the food. I cooked it personally.."

She said with a proud but sweet voice once raised from her curtsie

Please sit. I motion for her to sit down in a nearby chair and hand her some of the fruit on the tray ask begin to eat the soul. It is quite delectable, My Lady, this is fantastic!. I dip a piece of bread not the broth, You must tell me your name...

Inge sat down a bit hesitantly. She smiled looking at his handsome face

"Inge, Your Highness. My name is Inge Bergmann. I come from a small village, and I am lady in waiting to Her Grace, lady Sybille of Cleves.."

She said with weak voice. She felt his eyes on her and lowered her eyes immediately

I keep my eyes on her as she speaks. She seems to be quite timid, reserved, or she is severely embarrassed to be in my room alone with me. I tilt my head, You are a Lady to my cousin Sybille? Well I must say it truly is a pleasure to meet you. I pop a grape into my mouth, looking her over.

Inge looked at him. She nodded with a surprised smile

"Yes, I am. But I didn't know she was your cousin, Your Highness. I..I am really glad to meet you too. I heard you just came back from England.."

She said trying to be relaxed in his presence. Royals always made her a bit nervous

Yes she is my cousin, albeit distant relation. I smile and beckon her to come a bit closer to me. Yes I just got back from England where I unfortunately contracted a marriage that was just annulled and she is currently pregnant with my child. I hand a piece of bread to the Lady, smiling and trying to make light of my situation.

"I am sorry. Why was your marriage annulled, Your Highness? Oh..if you don't mind to answer, of course.."

She bit her bread not leaving her curious eyes from him

She walked up to the door and knocked. She looked out the hallway. She was hoping to get to know the prince.

I am alone with my thoughts, sitting in front of a roaring fire when there is a soft knock on the door. I clear my throat, Coming!. I answer the door and see a woman standing on thte other side and I do not recognize her. Hello My Lady...are you lost?

Her words catch me by surprise. I stand out of the way and wave my hand to let her in and I gently close the door. I grab two goblets, filling the with an aromatic sweet wine and hand her one. Well....I guess that you already knew who I am. I bid you welcome to my chambers.. I clear my throat once more and walk towards the fire, What is it that you would like to know andi must say that you seem to be a very bold person Your Highness.

She said looking at him. She found him very good looking.

I chuckle softly and smile before looking back at her, You flatter me Your Highness. I lean forward in my chair to look at her more closely. She isn't bad to look at herself!
