She laughed, her eyes sparkling at thought of Thomas.

No... He's at Whitehall.

Catherine had a little smile come on her face as she replied.

What about you, Gwen? Are you in love?

I wondered how she could sustain a relationship from afar but shrugged away my thought and shook my head,"No, no - I am suitably unattached."

Catherine smiled and sighed, wondering if she'd be able to see Thomas ever again.

I never thought I'd have a luck to be in love. But it came so unexpectedly, I couldn't believe it. Soon someone will capture your heart as well, Gwen.

She smiled at lady —a sincere smile of offered friendship

I grinned and tapped her hand lightly,"I am so very glad for you and I am so very content alone for now."

She recognised an exceeding kindness in Catherine and saw her as one she hoped would be a friend. She glanced outside at the darkening skies,"Perhaps I should head back..."

Catherine liked Gwen already, and hoped that somewhere in the future, they'd met again and be friends.

Of course, you may stay here until morning. We have a plenty rooms, but that is your decision.

I grinned - utterly thankful and relieved,"Are you sure? That would be very kind of you - I hope I would not be too much of an imposition."

The woods can be so very dangerous at night and I should not like to tread the pathway back alone ... not in the dark.

She shook her hand in a friendly way and smiled again.

I grinned,"Thank you so much, you must promise to come to me if you are ever ill and I shall give you the best treatment!"

Catherine said through the soft smile.

Should I show you, your room or you wish to stay here a little longer?

"I'm actually rather tired - could you show me to the room, please?"I replied and rubbed my head.

Catherine nodded with a little smile and stood up.

Then follow me.

She said as she left the kitchen, and headed toward the guest room.

Catherine lead Anne to the  Kitchen with a happy smile. She was really looking forward to their little  picnic.

What do you think we should take?

Anne looked around the kitchen. She never been there.

"I think we can take some baked goods- sweet and savory. And some fruit, too."

She looked at the bowl with fruit and took some apples, grapes and strawberries.

"Do you have any other ideas?"

She turned with a smile on Catherine.

Catherine took the basket from the table and put the fruit Anna took.

How about wine? We have many things to celebrate.

She said with a wink, and wide smile.

Anne smiled mischievously back at Catherine.

"Exactly! I think that we have a lot of things that we need to celebrate. I just hope that today's afternoon will suffice for all."

She laughed. With Catherine was always something to celebrate. She was so cheerful and full of energy.

She laughed happily and took the bottle of wine from shelf, before she turned to Anne again.

She said in cheerful voice, placing the bottle in basket.

Anne laughed merrily.

"So we have the best reasons for celebration."

She looked next to the furnace, where were freshly baked cakes. She took some and put them in the basket.

"Hmm ... smells good. Taking it too."

We do, And we shall have our own easter party.

She nodded approvingly as Anne put some of the lovely cakes in the basket. Then put some bread and cheese, and some meat.

I think we have everything now... Shall we go for blanket?

"We have a small private Easter party. This sounds so amazing!"

She laughed merrily. In Catherine's closeness she felt very pleasantly.

"In my bedroom I have a blanket. Let's go for it."
