I made my way to see Inigo Mendoza as I stepped into his office I was taken back by the splendour of his office it was something I had never seen before and I was French. I approached him with confident steps. Ambassador Mendoza thankyou for accepting to see me on such short notice. I smiled my hands firmly in front of me.

Inigo stood up from his desk with a warm smile. He bowed

Mi senora...it's a pleasure to receive you. I guess you're here for our Queen Joanna. Poor woman..she had almost the same destiny of her sister Katherine in England. Tell me..how is she?

He asked with concern

I sat down bringing my burdens with me and so I told him what most people were speculating. Yes Our Queen Joanna she is in good spirits is glad that not everyone has turned their backs on her. As everyone knows during her marriage it was not always so pleasant and was often left sadden she thought her children were to bring her closer to her husband but she was brought down with unhappiness. They are saying that Emperor Charles has put his mother away so he can gain certain control over such lands as she rules. The only way to do such is to declare her as mad and it seems that this is working he never visits his mother and the provisions she receives are from those out of kindness.

Inigo was shaking his head slowly while she was talking. He took a deep breath

This is really a shame, mi senora. A such worthy Queen as Joanna declared as mad. The Emperor has to know that this is not the way to take control of some lands. These news saddened me. And I'll write to Charles as soon as possible..

He sighed raising his eyes to ceiling

It was like the ambassador was close to the emperor a farther figure in some way no king had ever done a good job on their own their was always someone to offer such guidance. I think that his ears shall not be bent on such matters as to releasing the Queen I know his farther was a very horrid man could he now be turning into his farther?

Inigo sighed and shook his head

I don't know. But we must try. Queen Joanna is not a nun. And Charles shouldn't treat her in such way. He is my Lord and I know him. So..I trust I'll persuade him to release his mother. Does your Queen knows that you're here, mi senora?

He asked

Yes she does know that I am here and I shall tell her of your loyalty towards her but your King I do not like him and I do not wish to stay in his kingdom any longer. It would not surprise me if he now bedded Princess Beatrice as that is what your king does beds one then he beds the sister where is Isabella ambassador. I was in no mood to waste around here anymore the king had shown his true side.

Inigo was surprised to hear that. He didn't know what to say, but he smiled

I know nothing about King's private life, mi senora. But in these days he looks very nervous. Maybe because of Isabella's absence. But I assure you that I'll do my best to solve this matter with the Emperor..

It seemed as though if you wanted anything done you had to do it yourself. Of course I shall pass this on to Queen Joanna she shall be very happy to hear this but how can I leave and know that the king won't just discard of Isabella and for her to be left here alone in a foreign land.

Inigo took another deep breath. He wanted to be helpful and useful in this situation

I think Princess Isabella is living a very particular moment. It's praiseworthy of her to take care so much about the Queen. But I think she should focus on herself, right now..

That still doesn't answer my question. Isabella is close with all family members she sees it as her duty to take on such matters herself and it is at a bad timing to hear such news after just giving birth. I know that you both don't see eye to eye and you have a million other things to do but if you would just keep an eye on her maybe I would be grateful. I tried to smile but I was unsure of Isabella future her in Bavaria.

Oh of course I will. I'll take an eye over Isabella, if she will decide to stay here. Don't worry. I'm not heartless and I'll give her my help if she needs..

I smiled if only all men were as reasonable to talk to then it would make my job easy. I also have to meet another Spanish ambassador Eustace but I'm not that sure if he is back in Spain I hope I am not tiring you. I continued to look around his study it truly was a marvellous place.

Not at all. I'm used at all this, lady Sienna. My son Diego is currently with the Emperor. I'll write to him too. Maybe he could persuade him to release his mother..

None of you treat her with respect she deserves one day she will be Emperess of the entire Spain.
I was holding back on asking him a very important question I bit my lip tapping my fingers on the table.
Mendoza, you yourself have met Joanna of Castile you don't think that...
I felt my hands begin to tremble it was such an important question to ask.
Would Charles even take such a risk as to have a Lobotomy performed on his mother.

Inigo opened his eyes bigger. He looked at her in shock, cause he never thought about that. He shook hesitantly his head

A lobotomy? Oh Madre de Dios..I hope he won't. I'm not a physician..but how could this be possible? I met Joanna, and she looked perfecly mentally healthy. No sings of..lobotomy in her. Senora Rousseau, Charles is not a grateful son. But he is not a monster..

He said with vehemence looking at her

As always a man would always defend his fellow man women had voices and they should be heard as well I shaked my head in disagreement. A lobotomy is where you drill a whole in a persons head it's been happening for many years they do it to drill out the madness but as you said she is not mad at all. When the Emperors council all sit down to discuss matters at hand this might come up in conversation. You see for many generations a son would appoint his Queen mother a section of land with a sum of money enough for her to live a comfy life but with you're Emperor he has done the complete and utter opposite so for now in my eye's he shall remain a monster as these actions towards his mother are cruel. Like always it felt like I was going round in circles when all I was fighting for was the freedom of a much loved Queen maybe I was using the wrong tactics.

Inigo rubbed his forehead after listening her. Things were getting very complicated for Queen Joanna

You're right, mi senora. But what can we do. I wrote to Charles but I received no answer. I still can't understand why he wants to get rid of his mother. I even fear for her life, at this point. I'll write her a letter to show her my support..

A letter of support is that it she needed actions not empty words I took his paperweight into my hands. He wants to start a war with England but he rejects his mother I am starting to think he might have problems.

Inigo nodded rubbing his chin thoughtfully

He surely has problems, mi senora. But Queen Joanna shouldn't pay for this. Both her and Queen Katherine have been very unlucky with their husbands. But this behaviour is unforgivable by a son..

The Aragon sisters rather was their family ill fated when it came to marriage more like bad negotiations. [Color=#cc9999]When all of this first happened I thought it to be a phase and that he would listen to the whispers of his people but he has yet to change his mind. I closed my fingers around each other resting my hands in my lap their was another question that perhaps he could answer. I am to play a game of archery with the king my Farther taught me when I was young when it comes to sport do I have to let the king win the game? It is a valid question.

A game of archery with the King? Oh..that's interesting. I'm not good at this game, but I heard that he is. Is he kind towards you, Madame?

He asked curiously

I was not expecting his question but it was one that I knew I could answer to him honestly.
The first time I met him we did not see eye to eye and I think we still don't. He is handsome yes but nothing shall happen within the bedroom between us and besides he couldn't be able to handle me anyway.

The King tries to seduce every pretty women in court, Madame. Honestly, I don't suggest you having a relationship with him. But..I'm sure you'll enjoy your time with him..
