Dilara just arrived at Palace and she was brought in Harem by an eunuch and two ladies. She looked around her. Everything was new for her. She didn't know how her life would be there. The only thing she knew was that she was now a slave. She was now a Sultan's property..
After many nights with hunkarim. Hurrem made her way back to the harem. Life in the harem was tough; not everyone liked her she was still on her own. She studied real hard how to speak in Turkish; write and how to respect the Sultan. Hurrem wanted to be best at everything in harem; with her lessons and the religion side of things. Today was not a normal morning; not a normal day. Today was a new beginning for Hurrem. A familiar voice pierces Hurrems thoughts.
Dilara was fixing her bed's pillows when she saw a girl entering the Harem. She must be the red haired ucraine girl the whole Palace was talking about. Hunkarim's new concubine. So she decided to know her better and came closer
"You must be the new slave. I have heard about you. Alexandra..right?"
Sadly it was not the voice of Maria but of another girl. When they heard my name being mentioned all the slaves swarmed around me asking me dozens of questions most about the sultan. Where had you been the past two days and why only now did the sultan let me go? I interrupted the endless chatter. "I am not Alex anymore;"Everyone was immediately silent!"There in no Alexandra. Everyone will call me Hurrem. Hurrem. Do you understand me?"
Dilara looked surprised at her. If Sultan changed her name, this did mean that now she was his favourite concubine. She smiled
"Hurrem? Oh..so you got your target in the Sultan's heart. But be careful..Mahidevran Sultan won't be happy about that. And maybe Valide Sultan neither..Hurrem Hatun.."
She added whispering glancing around, with a bit on envy in her voice
"They don't scare me"Her green eye's blazed like fire as Hurrem stood up straight and proud of herself. How could she have forgotten the ambition of others? "I'm not a naive little girl anymore. Except you don't know me quite as well as you think you do"
Dilara listened her and finally she smiled. This new girl looked very sure of herself
"I suggest you to be careful, Hurrem. Especially if you will give a son to Sultan. In that case, as mother of a sehezade, you will be a Sultana. And Mahidevran Sultan won't be happy to share her Haseki title with a russian slave.."
She added while looking at her with a joking smile, even if she was serious
