Why must I be subjected to these men from England?

I was happy to hear that my future sister in law was now back in Bavaria it had been over a year since we last spoke how time flies by certainly when you were having fun. Anne was the one to go to if you ever needed some moral guidance and I missed her voice knocking gently on the door I waited to be let in.

I hear a soft knocking at my door....I open the door to see my beautiful sister in law.....
Maria, please come in. I am so happy to see you. I am also very glad to have some company.

When I stepped into her room it was totally transformed lined with books upon books the walls were hung with the most beautiful tapestry. The smell of Lavendar filled the room as I glanced around. I am happy to see you as well. I have often wondered about you and what you have been up to Sybille has missed you the most. Anne was an honest and virtuous lady her modesty showed in the books she kept on her shelve and in the manner of which she spoke.

I turn away from my sister in law, looking at all my books. How will I read in England? Maria, I know this is wrong, I am wondering how I can marry this King of England. Though I will do as my brother says.

I had to hold onto the side of her shelf had I just heard her right I had to sit down for a moment holding out my hand for her to join me. My dear Anne perhaps you heard William wrong the King of England is set to marry the lady Boleyn so be rest assured for now. I looked around for some strong wine.

Oh, I do so hope you are right Maria. I will rest easy now. May I please have a glass of the wine.

Smiling I went in search of some wine I never knew that Anne had a taste for such things but I poured her a goblet half full just incase. Yes I am right King Henry had an Easter party at court and so the winds of gossip say she sat in the Queens throne proudly next to him. I passed the goblet to her the fear of her marrying was apparent in her face. Unbeknown to people William was not a power mad man he had a heart but he was not so stupid to let the public see it.

As my dear sister in law goes in search of wine, I sit taking a few deep breaths trying to let the news that Maria has told sink in. I will not marry the King of England, I sigh deeply with relief. As I am almost completely calm now Maria walks in with the wine. I take the goblet, although I don't usually drink wine I need feel the need to be just s bit calmer. * Thank you my dear sister for the news and the wine, I shall be much better now*

I noticed how fast Anne was drinking her wine so I decided to hide the bottle with my foot. Now tell me dear sister in law what kept you from court for so long. I hope that nothing but good things came across your path.

I do believe I drank my wine a little to fast, as I feel it's effects already. [i my dear sister I am sorry I was away so long, I really must have lost track of the days. I am so sorry, it will not happen again.
I sit back and close my eyes trying to settle the effects of the wine.

Standing I went and found a flannel and wetted in with some water laying it over Annes' face. Anne I had no idea you liked the taste of wine. I could not hide my amusement the irrational thinking Anne was such fun. I poured her a goblet of water and sat beside her again. Alas I shall not tell your Papa but rather will you come to the summer party dear one? It is in the Gardens and Inge long time family friend of the Cleves would very much like to see you I know it. You were both once so close.
