While Sybille was listening to Inge speaking. She felt the most beautiful of breezes come across them. When she closed her eyes Sybille could see herself happily by the coast. She was growing very tired of court life and seeked adventure anywhere but here. So he is a gentleman towards you. This is good Inge! I am very happy that you are allowing happiness into your life. It was a relief to see Inge embrace happiness in her life. Sybille didn't have to worry about her like she had been doing.

Inge smiled joyfully

"Yes..for the first time after so long time, I feel that I can be happy. And that I can trust in Daniel. He is a very charming man and he is very galant towards me. But he is also very mysterious. There is something still hidden in his past, Sybille. And the only thing I know is that he has a daughter.."

She replied, before clising her eyes and enjoying the same breeze

No! Sybille said with a shocked expression on her face. It seemed like everybody had a secret hidden deep inside them. Is his daughter the same age as my darling little Leo. You are both practically perfect for each other. Syalis volat propriisbille said as a tiny ladybug landed onto her hand. She did miss the time spent with her dearest little Leo. He wasn't her son but she had a great deal of love for him.

Inge laughed with joy for her reaction, and she shook her head

"Oh I don't know, Sybille. He told me very few things about her. But if she was the same age of Leo, they could even play together. And..if things between Daniel and me will go further..she could be like a sister for him. Wouldn't it be fantastic, my friend?"

She exclaimed smiling and taking Sybille's hand. She knew how much she loved her son Leo and how much carying she was towards everybody

Sybille picked up a leaf, and began gently guiding the ladybird to it. It would be lovely she thought to have some sort of nature among the palace grounds. I hope that things will develop for the both of you. This has been a long time coming for you and if he accepts Leo than you don't have to worry. Sybille said reassuringly wanting her friend to put herself first for a change.

Inge smiled warmly to her friend and she nodded slowly

"Yes..I think he accepts Leo. And I accept his daughter, even if he is still so mysterious about her. We could build a new family and be happy. But what about you, Sybille? What will happen when your husband will be back?"

She asked, sincerely carying for her friend's happiness. She knew Sybille had feelings for King Richard

That is a question I cannot answer. Sybille had replied honestly sometimes forgetting she was married. Her marriage was on paper only not yet meeting this John Frederick. I might not like him when I see him has anyone thought of that. He is in the lands of the Scots at the present time.

Inge smiled weakly thinking at her friend's situation

"It must be weird being married on paper only. Or by proxy. But..if you have not met him yet, is this marriage valid? I mean..there is no consummation. So you could marry someone else, one day.."

She said, wondering if such marriage could be annulled

That wasn't an option for young Sybille. Her father had choosen the marriage especially so that he would have somebody to carry on his line of work. He had an heir but John was much like her father. It is ky fathers wish Inge. I wish to fulfil this for the sake of the work of my father. But do tell what would you do in my situation. And be as open and honest.

Inge took a breath looking thoughtfully around. It was a weird situation, indeed

"Honestly, I would do my best to protect my family's honour. So I'd try to be faithful and loyal to him. But..since you are a young and beautiful girl, Sybille..it's also natural having feelings for someone else. And I think you have.."

She added lowering her voice, meaning the King

Yes but I do not think that it is best to have any more communication in that way anymore. I mean it was fun while it lasted but I could never commit to it forever. Certain alliances with a king was always dangerous not just for Sybille but for her family too. For now she was just content with his everlasting friendship.

Inge nodded slowly

"Of course..you're right to protect yourself and your reputation, Sybille. The king will never marry another woman. Queen Eleanor is in Spain..but she is still his wife. Also..he shares a son with Princess Isabella. He has a complicated private life. But in spite of all this, I really think he cares for you, Sybille.."

She said leaning one hand on her arm softly. She smiled, knowing that Sybille was a sensitive person with deep feelings inside her

I do not wish for him to leave his wife! I can say proudly that is not me. If the roles were reversed Sybille would hate to find herself in such a predicament. He is not like other kings though. He is very loyal to his illegitimate son.

Inge was surprised hearing Sybille's words. But she smiled

"Oh..I have no doubts about that, Sybille. I know the King is an honest man. And I admire your honesty as well, my friend. Many other women would do anything to get the Queen's place. But you are loyal, faithful and honest. That's why I'm sure you'll find happiness very soon.."

She added smiling warmly and squeezing softly her hand

After a lengthy holiday Amelia returned to her homeland, her Bavaria. She felt quite tired and simply wanted to rest, so she took a book and sat out in the garden under her favorite tree to read while snacking on fruit and cheese.

For a few brief weeks I was in Denmark as requested by the King himself. An agreement between him and my family had been reached connecting an alliance between Bavaria and Denmark. It was a very strange feeling that came over me, I have been a back up bride of this King yet strangely it was if I lived in a harem. Trapped never again to be free or have my own thoughts. Realizing what little freedom I had left I sought out some shadow in the garden as the sun grew stronger burning the back of my neck. A young girl sat alone.

Madame might I join your company.
