Dear Lady Bergmann,
It's been a long time since I have you and your son Leo had last seen. Just recently I thought, that I want to see both of you and ask if you're well. Often I remember at my little brother.
I'd like you to agree a place where we'll meet. I'm now in England, so if you want, we can meet here. If you can't come here for some reason, I can come to Bavaria and spend with you a few pleasant days.
Hope to see you soon and look forward to our reunion.
Sincerely, Francesca Benedetti.

Dear Princess Francesca, I receive with surprise your letter. Last time I saw you, I was still with child and I still lived in Tuscany. But many things happened after your father's death. Now I live in Bavaria court, as lady in waiting to Lady Sybille of Cleves. My son Leonardo is now almost an year old. I call him Leo and he is the joy of my life. You are his eldest sister, so I would be very happy if you'll meet him. Leo is still too little to travel with me towards England. But if you wuuld reach us here in Bavaria, even if for few days, I would be very happy
Sincerely
Inge Bergmann
