Margaret felt a sudden shiver along her back as he interlaced his fingers with hers. She was not used being so close to a man "My...my father died many years ago, my lord. And my brother...is very jealous, as you see. But I don't think he'll force me to marry someone, one day. And..." She paused for a while, looking down "And...I made him a promise..." She added almost whispering, blushing a bit

I gazed into her eyes while being most attentive. "I'm sorry about your father, and Thomas does seem very protective of you. Although i'm sure he only wants the best for you." I saw her lower her eyes, "May I ask what kind of promise?" I asked curiously. as I still held her hand in mine.

Margaret felt her heart about to stop after his question. She raised her blue eyes to him slowly "I...I promised him to keep my virginity until my wedding night, my lord. He...he could feel very hurted if I'd lose my purity before marriage. My virtue...is the most precious thing I have, my lord..." She answered, blushing suddenly. She lowered her eyes, like almost she feared to meet his eyes again

When she told me of her promise to Thomas, I was not surprised although, I did feel the need to make her feel more comfortable with me. I pulled her chin up so she was facing me, "My lady Margaret, please I understand what virtue can mean to a woman." I then took her hand and brought it to my lips kissing it softly. "I want you to feel comfortable around me, more importantly with me." I said honestly.

Margaret looked at him surprised. Then she smiled as he kissed her hand "I already feel comfortable with you, my lord. You're very kind and respectful man. I heard that many men don't understand such promises...but you did. This makes me feel comfortable, lord Kinvert..." She added whispering. Then she smiled sweetly, staring at him

We had been in such a deep conversation that everyone had left the balcony. The moon was shining brightly and I made her features more noticeable. I leaned in close to her, and could smell the sweet scent of her perfume. "My lady I wish to kiss you" I said as continued to hold her hand.

Margaret blushed suddenly after his words and raised her eyes to him. She felt a shiver along her back. Kissing her? She hadn't been kissed before. She sighed and stared into his eyes. She desired it, even if she feared Thomas's reaction. She looked at him and nodded slowly "You...you can, my lord..." She whispered, blushing more and lowering her eyes

I knew she had been very sheltered, although I was very attracted to her and a simple kiss was very innocent.
I stood as close as possible to her, noticing her flushed cheeks. I brought her chin up so I could see her beautiful eyes. "Do not be nervous my lady." I said as I cupped her face with one of my hands and brought my lips to hers and kissed her soft and gently.

Margaret closed her eyes. As she felt his warm lips on hers, she felt a shiver running alomg her back. She kissed him back, leaning her hand on his chest. It was an unknown sensation for her. But suddenly she detached from him slowly and turned her eyes elsewhere. She felt her cheeks burning and her breath becoming faster. She remained silent, without to dare raising her eyes to him again...

As our lips touched for the first time, I felt something that I had never felt before. She pulled away and I noticed her blush. I sensed I should not push her. I then stepped back, and held her hand. "Tell me what your thinking? You have no reason to shy away from me. I want you to feel comfortable." I said as I tried to look at her.

Margaret shook slowly her head and finally raised her eyes to him. She smiled "I...I'm very comfortable with you, my lord. I'm just...not used in doing such things. Forgive me if I can seem...distant..." She replied with sweet voice. She felt her legs trembling a bit and blushed again, thinking that Anthony was used to much more experienced girls

I smiled back at her, "I'm glad you feel comfortable with me, that's all I wish." I then take her hand in mine again and squeeze in gently. "Margaret, you are making so happy, and I would never make you feel obligated to do something that you were not comfortable doing." I said as I lightly brushed my hand up against her cheek.

Margaret smiled for his words and nodded "I know, my lord. And I thank you for that. You're a man of honour, and you worth my trust. But I think...it's rather late, and I have to retire into my chamber. It has been...lovely talking to you, lord Kinivert..." She whispered sweetly, looking smiling at him

I looked over at the clock tower and the it was rather late, I stood up straight and looked at her, "Yes I do believe the hour has got away with us and I don't want to keep you any longer. Although I would like to walk you to your chambers if you don't mind?" I said I saw she looked a bit cold. I then took off my over coat and placed it on her shoulders.

Margaret looked at his coat on her shoulders and looked gratefully at him. She smiled and nodded slowly "Of course...you can accompany me, sir Anthony. It's very kind of you..." She showed him a bright smile this time, and left the balcony with him, walking towards her bedroom. She was feeling more comfortable in his company, now
