The Balcony

I smile to the lady and nod.

''You don't need to apologize,my lady...''

I say kindly.

I smile,"I could leave Your Highness..if it pleases you?"

I give Bridget a smile...

''Oh no please join us my lady...May I know your name?''

I ask with a smile on my face.

Bridget smiles at Princess Mary, and turns her head as she sees Vicountess Craven. Bridget bows her head, and says ro her," Hello, my lady."

I smile happily and curtsy to Bridget,"I came to find my brother Thomas-he has just arrived in court...for our brothers wedding. Edward is to marry this coming Friday but now I have seen you I would like to invite you Bridget,"

I then turn to the Princess and curtsy,"...And of course, Your Gracious Highness. If it so pleases you it would be my families greatest honour if you attended our brothers wedding..."

I smile kindly.

I smile happily,"Thank you, Your Highmess and what an honour it would be for you to attend..."

Bridget was thrilled. She would be going to a wedding. An actual wedding! She curtsied, and clapped her hands. "Of course," she continued," my lady, I would love to go."

I smile when I saw how Bridget was happy about going to a wedding.Then I look at Elizabeth and ask her kindly.

''When is a wedding ,my lady?''

I laugh warmly a Bridgets reaction,"This Friday coming...very soon but my brother is not fond of waiting!"

I smile warmly but also feel a little sad-the last Craven to marry...

''Oh that is very soon,but i can undrstand,they love each other and they probably can not wait to be together.''

I say softly with a smile on my face.

I smile and nod,"Yes it is true...my brother speaks so highly of her..."

I then look to Bridget,"Bridget would you please come to my chamber later this evening...I need help with picking a dress for my brothers wedding?"

''it was wonderful to talk with you both but I must leave you now,and Bridget remember if you ever need anything you know where to find me.''

I curtsy to them and slowly walk towards my chambers.

I curtsy respectfully at the Princess as she leaves and then smile. It would be an honour if she did attend my brothers wedding...

"Bridget I must find my brother but do you promise to come visit me this evening?"

Bridget feels the silence grow. It is a bit ackward, and then she thinks of Mabel. Her sister was engaged to marry. How lucky she was. Marriage. Bridget shook her head, and waited for either one to speak.

I touch Bridget's arm as she doesn't reply, she seems as if in a trance,"Bridget did you not hear me, I asked if you would come to my chamber tonight to help me pick a dress for Friday?"

Birdget jumps up, and looks at the Vicountess. "I am sorry, my lady. Yes, I shall come to your chambers tonight. Please forgive for being rude," Bridget replied.

"Not at all and perhaps if it pleases you, you could perhaps borrow one of my dresses for the wedding...that is of course if you like any of them...Now if you will excuse me I must leave but I will see you later"

I smile, curtsy and then leave the balcony...

"Thank you, my lady. I accept your offer," Bridget said to her. She bows her head, and watches as the Vicountess leaves. Bridget also watched as Princess Mary left. She left too.

After doing her duties in lady Alfonsina's chambers, Margaret decided to take some fresh air on the balcony. She admired the blue sky and kept on thinking deeply about her new life at court

I went out to the balcony to get some fresh air, I noticed a beautiful blonde woman walking along the side. She looked like she had a Lot on her mind. I walked up to her. "Excuse me my lady you look like you could use some company. Do you mind?" I said as I stood next to her.

As I approached the beautiful woman I noticed Thomas Wyatt approached her as well. But I wasn't backing down. "Thomas" I said and nodded my head. I then turned back to her.

Margaret was lost in her thoughts. As she felt an hand on her shoulder she turned suddenly her head "Oh...Thomas! You scared me..." While she was still saying that, she heard a male voice behind them. She saw an handsome man who was greeting her. She blushed a bit and curtsied. But she noticed Thomas was trying to send him away from her. It looked like he knew him. She stared at them while they were almost arguing. So she smiled sweetly "My lord...I'm very pleased to meet you..." Then she turned to her brother "Thomas...we can talk later. I'm sure this gentleman will keep me good company. With your permission, of course..." She added almost whispering, lowering her blue eyes
