| I looked on proudly at my brother. Whenever he carried out his king duties I always was immensely proud of him. Now that lady Anne had a rank of nobility people would have to treat her with respect. What would become of these two I thought fondly to myself. | |

Anne was just like a queen. She listened as Thomas Cromwell read out the patent which gave her the title of Marquis of Pembroke in her own right, a title that would also pass on to her offspring. After this patent was read, the King crowned her with the gold coronet of a marquis

and placed on her a crimson velvet mantle.

Anne received not only the patent but also her own lands which were worth over £1000 per year.

| Elizabeth watched from the back of the room. She was so happy for Anne. She thought about leaving court and heading back to France. Part of her missed France and part of her didn't. | |

| Anne was walking just like a queen. She was the most happy. She could feel the eyes of Katherine's spies. She looked at her sister Mary and her loyal lady Margery for a moment and she smiled.
She was completely ready to go to France!
