I am sorry to hear that Gulfem. Would you like a hug. Now Mihirinnisa was even more determined to not forget who or where she gave from. Gulfem was extremely lucky unlike others. Her opinions were respected by others and here presence valued. You have a family now though and I'm sure the Harem would fall to pieces without you.

Gulfem smiled friendly to lady and shrugged. You're very kind, but there isn't a need for it. I've my life here, the people I love, friends and new family. And all of that means a lot. She said, knowing her life now was different than before, but not in a bad way.

I bet they have the most beautiful gardens here in the spring time. I have never come across a land like this before! I feel scared but also a thrilling need to explore. Mihirinnisa felt like a young girl being given a brand new book, whereas within it she got to pinpoint all the places she had journey to. The Ottoman Empire however felt like it was hidden within the creases of the book. You never really knew much about it until you came to it.

Gulfem nodded to the lady, and said in excited voice, Oh, yes! The gardens here are divine, nothing you had seen before. Even for Gulfem the gardens here were most beautiful, and her favorite thing, and often she would spend as much of her free time walking in them.
