Dear Louis,
As predicated, it seems that I am being sent away. Like I said, my father was not happy with the idea of me being a mistress to someone. I am being sent to the English court, where I will hopefully serve the new and upcoming Queen. You may visit whenever you like, but that is if you like. Furthermore, I must continue my packing. I hope that I do see you again, but if I do not I have enclosed a locket incase you might forget.
Yours,
Anne Bassett.
