Oliver was new to court- unlike his siblings- he found it to be rather a strange place. He would much rather be outside with his horse and the pleasantries of the local people. Perhaps Oliver would never really fit in with the foreign expectancy that had now plagued Scotland. With a book his lunch an a flask of ale tucked securely under his arm. He set off to find a comfortable spot to light a fire and sit by it letting the hours go by.

As Amelia waits for orders from her Queen, she decides to walk to the lake. She has been wanting to discover what Stirling has to offer as soon as she arrived and took this opportunity to see what there is to offer.

She has always been one to enjoy being outside no matter the weather when not attending her duties. As she approaches the lake she sees a man standing along its shores. Since she is new to court, she doesn't know the significance of the person so she approaches cautiously before dropping into a curtsy.

As Oliver heard the footsteps of someone approaching him hunched up his back curious to see who was approaching. Slowly- as he turned he noticed that it was a lady one he had never seen from court before. Relaxing his shoulders Oliver smiled dusting his hands as he rose to stand. The fire had warmed him as he approached the stranger. Oliver could hear the squelching sound of drenched leaves being trodden on. No need to curtsy to me lass- I am merely a Courtier. The name is Oliver would you care to join me by the fire. Oliver offered kindly as he was never one to take advantage of a young lass on her own. He respected and felt protective over women like he was raised to be.

Amelia was quite surprised at this young gentleman's manners and nice attitude. So far the men she has seen weren't of the greatest disposition, at least to her. She rose from her curtsy and smiled,

I am sorry sir. I am still learning faces and names here at court as I am new here. Just came as a lady in waiting to the Queen. She takes a seat by the fire, I am Lady Amelia Jameson and may I ask your name?
