Gardens

Margaret finally arrived at Allington Castle with Anthony for their honeymoon. She was so happy to spend some time alone with her husband. Thomas was busy with his poems, and Anthony was resting in his room. So she came out for a relaxing walk in the gardens. She sat on a bench and she kept on breathing fresh air

Juan was taking a walk in the gardens. The sun was shining really bright. Juan wanted to take a rest and he decided to find a place to seat. He saw a young woman sitting on a bench. He approached her and asked "Do I know you,m`lady?"

Margaret heard a male voice and turned her head immediately. She was surprised to see a man in the gardens of her family home. She looked at him curiously "No..I don't think so, my lord. This is my family home..and I thought there was no one around here. My name is Margaret Lee.." She paused. He had a familiar face but she never saw him "But..I am usually known as Margaret Wyatt.." She added

"It is a pleasure for me to meet you, m'lady Wyatt" said Juan and smiled, trying to look charming. "I am Juan Borgia, duke of Genoa. I am sorry if I scared you, but I got lost. I am new here, I arrived in England before a month. And ,as you see, I had some troubles with my carriage and now I don't know where I am. Would you be so kind to help me, madame?" he asked.

Margaret gasped. He was a Garcia? She looked around, confused. Was he Alfonsina and Cesare's sibling? Maybe a coincidence? Then she looked up at him again "Duke of Genoa, you said? Oh..are you a relative to lady Alsonsina Garcia, my lord? You know..I am her lady in waiting.." She replied, wondering what kind of connection there was with her Mistress

"Oh,yes!Alfonsina is my sister.She,Cesare,Isabella and me - we are the Garcia family." said Juan. He was surprised that she was his sister's lady-in-waiting. "You must know her well,then." he added.

Margaret surprised. She had no idea that Alfonsina had another brother and another sister "Oh..really? Alfonsina never talked to me about you..or your sister Isabella. But it seems that Garcia's family is bigger than I thought.." She smiled a bit shyly, and she paused before adding "It's nice to meet you, by the way. I..I don't know if you are aware about that, my lord. But..I am also your ex sister in law. Because..Cesare is my ex husband. But we divorced and I married again, as I told you.." She added quickly turning her eyes elsewhere. Maybe Cesare talked bad about her, as he was used to do. He even tried to turn Alfonsina against her. So Juan could have a very bad opinion about her

"Actually this is the first time that I hear that you both were married! I didn't expect that!" said Juan surprised "I am not that close with my brother. I have been in Italy,while he was here,in England. It looks like Cesare doesn't share his actions or thoughts very often."

Margaret smiled softly shrugging a bit "Oh..he shares his thoughts about me very often around court..believe me. He hates me. So I am suprised you know nothing about our marriage.." She paused for a moment "You know...it has been a very painful separation, my lord. Especially for me. Because..I was with child and I lost my baby. So..if he talked bad about me..please don't believe him.." She pulled back her long curls on her shoulders, forcing a smile "But all this belongs to the past, thank God. Now I started a new life with a wonderful man.."

"Nope,he never mentioned you" said Juan. "My brother is not that kind of a person that shares his secrets,expecially his love life. Are you enjoying your stay here,m'lady?"

Margaret smiled ironically, after taking a breath "I am not surprised, my lord. By the way, yes..I am enjoying it. As I told you, I am spending here my honeymoon with my husband, sir Anthony Lee. Maybe you heard about him at court or somewhere else. Oh..were you going to Whithall Palace to visit your sister Alfonsina? I can show you the way, if you are lost.." She said kindly. Being Alfonsina's brother, she felt like it was her duty trying to help him

"Yes,I was going to see my sister. And yes, I would be glad if you help me find a way to the castle,m'lady." said Juan.

Margaret nodded "Oh..alright. Can you see that path over there, my lord? Follow it, and it will bring you straight to Whithall Palace. It's not too far. You should arrive before the sunset. But..before you go.." She stood up slowly and she smiled "Please, allow me to give you a water battle. I shall enter for a moment in the kitchen to take it. You know..you could be thirsty during the journey.."

"Oh,thank you,m'lady. You are very kind. I will wait you here,you can go and take it" said Juan and smiled.

Margaret curtsied before entering quickly in Castle's entrance. She took a fresh water bottle in the kitchen and after a while she came back to him. She placed the bottle in his hands with a bright smile "Your water, my lord. Weather is very warm this summer. Hope you'll arrive safely at Palace. And..please, greet lady Alfonsina for my part. Tell her that I miss her so much and that I'll come back to court soon.." She said softly, avoiding to mention his brother

"Thank you very much for your kindness,m'lady. I will gladly greet my dear sister from your behalf. I wish you happy honeymoon. It was pleasure meeting you,m'lady." said Juan and kissed her hand.

Margaret smiled as he kissed her hand "Same for me, my lord. And..remember that I am at your family's service. If you need anything, don't hesitate to let me know.." She said still keeping her bright smile

"I am very grateful, m'lady. Goodbye for now,I wish you well" said Juan warmly,smiled at the lady and went to take his carriage.

Margaret curtsied "My lord.." And she watched him leaving in silence

Margaret was told that sir William Parr was in the garden. So she left house to meet him. She smiled brightly as she saw him and curtsied "Sir William! I am..I am very happy you came until here to see me. How are you?" She blushed a bit before adding "Would you care to follow me inside? Maybe..you would love to drink something.."

Margaret smiled and blushed for his words "You flatter me, my lord. You are..too kind.." She reached his hand playing a bit with his fingers while staring at him "If you would like to follow me inside..I have set a warm fire. So..we can drink something while enjoying each other's company.." She smiled teasingly and entered inside house with him
