I ask the servant to prepare to meet my whole family for when I send for them: "Just be ready I tell him".

I hear of the lady Jane's arrival and I tell the servant to escort her to my study.

Beloved why is Lady Jane coming here and why now. This is be a vacation for us. Nothing dealing with the court. We were to be together, to show how much we love each other. To be like we were when we were early in our marriage. The love we showed. Making love Thomas I want that again and that is why we are here. *in anger she walked away and in another room she cried in her hands*

"Hush Elizabeth she was only coming to pick up some books for her studies.

"I will not have any other woman bit you especially after what that Lady Dawn did to me while you were away.
I thought I would never find someone to play Elizabeth so I was deciding on a new marriage and I gave her everything great gifts dresses and even the position of duchess and she agreed and then she humiliates me in front of the whole court.

*Still angry and tears falling down her face she looked at Thomas* Tell me Thomas why are we here for revenge on this woman that you made her a duchess and she spurned you. Well Thomas I too am a duchess remember. We are to be here for a reason and not to be here for revenge. If this is your reason then no I don't understand. If you love me then why are you worrying about this. *Still crying as she left him. She called to the servants to have them pack my bags so that I will leave from here.*

I go and kiss her and order the servants to take her bagas inside.

Mmmm you love me and I mean something to you. Then again why are these women here. Why are the problems of the court followed us here. You promised me, promised me that this will be a vacation away from court. We were to be here alone just us. I don't want to be here this way when you are dealing with the court. I know that you wish for a royal dinner with guests all around but I wonder if it could be quiet and just us. "I will stay here with you my love and what I had in mind was a dinner for just the four of us my dear wife.
They have not responded yet.

I escort her to her chamber and as I opened the door there was a fantastic new diamond chandelier in the centre of the room which shined beautifully. There was a new and improved four poster bed covered with new fabrics.
To the left was a new chest of drawers filled with great jewels and all Elizabeth favourite things. There was also a wardrobe with brand new dresses and furs which I hoped she would like.
There was also a new desk with new feather pens and ink.
I turn to Elizabeth.
"Do you like it?"

My darling I love that you give me especially your love. My chamber is amazing as are you. I hope that it is just you and I for dinner to enjoy each other. I want only us to be here. Let us have our dinner. And I shall look at all that you have given me though it doesn't matter for I have you here to share it with me. *I hold your hand as you take me to my chambers and I look surprised with all that you give me. I gently touch his face and kiss you* I really do hope that it is only the two of us for dinner tonight. To only be with you my love my beloved. *Kiss you softly*

"Tonight it is only going to be us for dinner and then soon the king and queen will join us.
"I have areplied great meal prepared for us.
"Come let's eat"
The maids come in before dinner and comb Elizabeth's hair and lay her new jewels on the table.
"So you look nice for the dinner with his Lord Norfolk" the maid says.

*I let the maids comb my hair and place my dress upon me and my jewels around my neck. To ready myself for the King and Queen and for you. The dinner will be grand.* Thomas how do I look. I hope that I please you.

*Smiles at him and held him close* I am glad that I can make you happy and I hope that this celebration will go well as you plan. Husband after this with the King and Queen shall we be together alone for awhile. I want to be completely alone. Just us two. I want to only us to be together. Not the King or Queen nor our daughters, no part of the court. I want this to be a vacation from court. *kissing him with love*.

Very well dear wife for a short time I can do it before I am summoned back to court.

Beloved tell me how long will we be here without having to entertain the King and Queen before we have to be summoned to court. I would love to spend more time with YOU alone.

We may have a few weeks my love as I might be summoned to court for the Christmas party.

Yes we are here now *turn away from him* but why do I feel like as if someone will come in with court business. *looking toward him* Is there somewhere else we can go where we can be completely quite. Where there on one will find us. For a short time, where we feel nothing but peace.
