Prince Alfonso d'Aragona of Naples entered the walls of the monastery, just arriving he had indeed a long journey and he sighed while he looked around, so much had he learned of the treatment of the Queen of Castile and Leon who so happened to be his cousin through his mother the Princess Juana of Naples. Looking over "please tell her majesty I have arrived, give her this letter" He requested most respectfully handing over a letter as he had received a summons from his mother to aid in the assistance of their cousin, he was to be a King of Naples when he reached the proper age as his mother was regent and Princess of the Kingdom soon to become Queen in a mere months time.
Alfonso took in his surroundings it would be his first time in Spain, he was merely a young teenager but he was a strong young man indeed. looking ahead with his eyes he was dark complected in a way and looked very much of Spanish origin like his mother, he clearly looked nothing like his father either and he stayed waiting for his approval to meet with the Queen.

I was asked for an audience by the Prince of Naples, and naturally my curiosity was piqued. I met with him among the monastery walls and smiled at his appearance. "Your Highness, what brings you to Tordesillas this day?"

Alfonso looked at the Queen in front of him and bowed his head respectfully "I have come with my mother but we were separated I became so enthused by the art within these walls I am afraid I've lost her" Alfonso told her and chuckled a bit. "I've been made aware she wished a alliance with you I do look forward to it " he told her as he stood there in front of her "shall we walk together your majesty?" he asked.

"A walk would be lovely," I said, offering him to take my arm. Let' us not spoil this day with politics, what of the art inspired you so?"

Alfonso indeed hated politics it wasn't his favorite subject but when the Queen spoke the words she did he couldn't help but smile and laugh a bit "very well then your majesty, as I too am not a fan of such things myself" he smiled and took her arm within her own "I do after all hear enough of it from my teacher" he spoke and chuckled a bit.
Beginning to walk with her he heard her questions "the art was spectacular, it was the many colors which caught my eye within it and the hard work the artist must have put into such art to have it done, surely it was a job well done for the artist as the work was exquisite" he complimented "I have a interest in art and music but even archery is a pleasure of mine" he commented once more honestly.
"And you your majesty, what is it that you enjoy most of all?" he asked.

"Only sometimes do I miss the days when I would listen in on my husband's council talking of strategies and new laws to be passed. I liked to think it was my permission being granted in those cases, and not Philip's."
It was a long time since I'd had any conversation with someone other than my ladies, who liked to hear tales of my time with the Spanish court, and the ambassador who only carried bad news.
"Art is the extension of one's soul, I believe. When you love a work of art you also connect with the artist's soul."
"I also love archery. It was one of my best talents. I always despised embroidery and such."
