Inge Bergmann's bedchamber

Daniel came to Naples to see Inge. When he returned to Bavaria, he had been told that this was where she could now be found. So without thinking he followed her here so not sure what he was expecting upon their reunion they had both been parted for too long. Down an endless long corridor which was basically door after door, Daniel found the room belonging to Inge. His knuckles rasped against the oak wood door.

Inge was unpacking Leo's clothes while she heard knocking at the door. Since she was there since few days, she was expecting anyone. She then thought that her Mistress Sybille came to visit her. So she stopped unpacking and curtsied before the closed door

"Please, come in.."

She said, waiting for her to come inside

Daniel pushed open the door the first thing that struck him was how beautiful Inge was. Inge, he finally spoke. Waiting for her to turn around and face him.

Inge looked speechless at him. She had no idea that Daniel was in Naples. Suddenly she felt her heart beating and she smiled happily

"Sir Daniel..welcome. I didn't know you were in Naples. I..I am so glad to see you. Please, come in.."

She said while Leo was looking curiously at him

It was hard to tell if Inge was happy to see him or not. I returned to Bavaria.Nothing is there to keep me anymore so I came here as you had once mentioned this place before. Sheepishly Daniel ran a hand through his hair. The weeks of traveling is finally catching up with him. He registered that Leo was here. I had to see you. He whispered across to Inge.

Inge blushed a bit as he whispered his last words. So she curtsied to welcome him and opened the door. She called Leo's governess, and she asked her to bring Leo in the garden for a while. She kissed her son's forehead before closing the door again. She looked at Daniel, standing before her

"As you see..Leo is growing, my lord. He needs to play in open spaces. I..I have to say that I'm surprised to see you. But..I am happy you came.."

She added almost whispering, staring into his eyes

How could I not come. A smile played on his lips as he answered playfully. Shall I escort you back to your chamber, my lady Inge.

Ingle smiled and blushed a bit. She nodded

"Yes..thank you. It's very kind of you, lord Meyer. How is your cousin..our King?"

She asked while stepping close to him

I was tempted, so tempted, but I held back, waiting, longing. Suddenly I was caught off guard by her question about my cousin the king of Bavaria. I'm not sure Inge, it's been such a long time since I saw him why do you ask. I raised an eyebrow with a somewhat curious expression on my face.

Inge smiled simply, lowering her eyes

"Oh..I was just curious, my lord. I have not seen him since long time as well. What..what bring you to Naples? Some business..or just you wished to see me?"

She asked with hesitation, blushing a bit one more time
