With winter fully behind us Elena spent most of her day with her face cast towards the sun, letting it shine down upon her. She hadn't been able to see her lady for a while, what with lent Katherine of Aragon was otherwise occupied. Very little money was to spare. If it wasn't for the love that people still had for her lady then Elena would starve by now. It felt like slavery. The money they did receive was spent wisely on only the important things like food and some cotton for lady essentials. On days when Elena was in a very bad mood, she would curse those who failed to come and see Katherine their "empty promises" of support was needed now for her lady. Selfish people who only want to save their own skin. Today she tried to put all her feelings aside and decided that she would show her lady Katherine this tranquil view at the end of Kimbolton Castle. It worried Elena that her lady would be stuck indoors sitting in front of a roaring fire. She needed to be out so the sun too could shine down on her face lifting the veil of darkness a little. The best cushions they had left were put to great use for Katherine to have a comfy sit upon them outside.

Stepping outside the cool summer breeze hits my tired face. Glancing around I see Lady Elena had laid out cushions and I smiled as her kindness was overwhelming she was the only that showed me such kindness after I removed from court and has been my most trusted lady.
I walk slowly towards her with my hands reached out her." Elena I am most grateful for this, the view from here is magnificent. "
