He feels pleasantly surprised by her question and replies warmly. 'Of course, Your Majesty, with pleasure, thank you!' He accompanies her to the king to sit next to him. Wolsey looks from one at the other and sigh inaudible. Henry looks inflexible and inaccessible. He bows his head and waits for one of them to speak.

Henry was sipping wine, sitting at his table. He turned to Katherine as she spoke and smiled weakly
But of course...stay with us, Cardinal! You're a man who loves fun. Aren't you, Wolsey?
He asked meaningfully, staring at him. Then he bit an apple

Wolsey hides his confusion and discomfort and smiles widely. 'Thank you, Your Majesties and indeed, I love fun... on time... and among other things.'
He gestures at a servant to bring more wine and waits untill he serves every one of them and leaves again. 'I am very grateful that both Your Majesties have accepted my invitation to join this ball at your honor. The guests are most pleased to see you together again... and in good health.'

Wolsey bows his head at the king, trying not to frown. 'Of course, Your Majesty...' He feels the tension but there is nothing he can do about it, so he just drinks his wine and stares at the festivities.

Wolsey nodd at the king and looks after him, sighing, then he turns to the queen. ´Your Majesty, Campeggio is here at court to judge with me on the validity of your marriage... please, think about the stress and unworthiness of a trial and obey to the king´s wishes, I beg you in your own interest and in the interest of princess Mary...!´
