Geoffrey entered in the room and bowed

My lord...

Henry heard the servant enter and turned from the window.

"Yes?" he smiled.

Geoffrey smiled back kindly

My lord...since you're just arrived at Palace, and being a member of King's Privy Chamber, I was told to see if you need something...

He glanced around the room and did a quick thinking of all he had also brought with him.

"I think I'm very well, thank you. But, is there a time that His Majesty is available so I can meet with him?" he asked. "By the way, may I ask your name? I suppose you already know I'm Henry Norris." He thought it was important to get to know the servants.

Geoffrey nodded quickly

Of course, my lord...I know that. My name is Geoffrey Lonshord. You can ask to me for everything you need, sir Norris. And yes...I can arrange a meeting with His Majesty, if you wish...

He answered with kind voice

"Thank you, Geoffrey. I believe I have all I need for now and will let you know if I do need anything," He felt a little nervous thinking about meeting with the king but he wanted to make a good first impression. "I would appreciate it if you could arrange a meeting. Let me know and I shall make myself available to see His Majesty."

Geoffrey nodded with his head

Of course, my lord. I'll let you know as soon as possible. Now..if there is nothing else...

He bowed, ready to leave after his permission

He smiled. "No, there is nothing further. Thank you Geoffrey." He said, nodding to dismiss him to his other duties.

Geoffrey bowed again and left silently the room after he spoke

After two days, Geoffrey reached sir Norris's chamber and entered the room. He bowed

My lord...His Majesty is ready to receive you in his Reception Room...

Henry nodded. "I'm ready Geoffrey. Thank you." He followed him to the king's chambers.

Geoffrey nodded and leaded him until King's chambers

Geoffrey walked inside room and bowed respectfully. He left a note on the table and left the room in silence

He got the note, and was glad to be asked to join the others. Excitedly he went about making sure he had everything he needed then left to get his horse and get out to the forest to meet up with the others.

Margaret was a little uneasy about the other night with Henry, thought she did not under and circumstance regret the decision of giving her maidenhead to him. She needed to talk to him, to see if he harbored any of the feeling she did. She arrived at his door, knocking gently awaiting her entrance.

He was finishing trying on a new suit of armor, a gift from his parents, when he heard a gentle knock. "Come in," he replied. His servant helped remove the last of the armor.

She gently opened the door, slowly entering. "Henry, it's Margaret. Forgive me, I hope I do not disturb what you are doing!" She told him, walking into the room more, approaching him.

Henry was glad to hear Margaret's voice and smiled as he saw her come in. "You are not disturbing me at all. I am glad to see you," He tried to ignore the pounding of his heart against his ribcage as he took in the sight of her. Instantly he felt self conscious but he kept a smile on, trying to appear in control.

She smiled at him, running a hand through her hair to fix it. "I'm glad to see you too.There is something I wish to speak to you about, about the other night in the woods." She bushed recalling every memory of him and every touch.

"Yes, of course." He motioned for the servant to leave. He took Margaret's hand and led her to the sofa. "I want to tell you, I have not been able to stop thinking about that night.." he looked into her eyes as he said it, but looked away as he felt himself blush.

Margaret saw him blush and blushed herself. "Neither have I, but there is something I need to know. I know this may be too forward, but what are you expecting from our actions? Being who my cousin is, I am watched all the time and it wouldn't look good if everyone thought I was acting wantonly." She told him, hoping he'd understand.

He pondered over her words. "To be quite honest my lady, I had not thought of anything past what happened. I think we are both young to consider anything truly serious. But do not worry, I have not bragged about you, I have made no mention of our night together. Only the king knows I have met you and like you." He was embarrassed that he didn't have an answer for sweet Margaret. "I think no less of you because of that night, and I wouldn't blame you if you thought I was a scoundrel. But I don't make a habit of bedding women left and right, the way some men here do. I feel a connection to you, but what exactly that means I have yet to know."

She sat down on the sofa. "Yes, I agree we are both young. I must thank you for not speaking of our night together and having the discretion most men lack here." She felt troubled that he thought she would consider him a scoudrel. "I could never think such a thing of you, you are too unlike other men and I know you aren't lustful. I feel a connection to you as well. Perhaps we can find out what we want together?" She asked.

He smiled, glad that she agreed they should take things slow. "I would never besmirch your name. I'm simply not of the same mindset as others would be. Also I think what we shared should be secret just between us. it will be kept special that way." He took her hand in his and held it there, the soft skin of her hand a reminder of her sweetness and kindness. "Let's find out together, discover each other in new ways," he added with a wink.
