Smiles and stands up as I talk and make my way around the people in the grand hall

I saunter into the great hall seeing new faces, old faces, beautiful women of course. Smiling I am on my old stomping grounds again. Then I see an old friend Anthony Knivert, I go up to him and give him a playful slap on the back.

"How are you old friend?"

After wandering around the room, and drinking for a while I was about to leave when I see my good friend Francis.

"Francis! it's been a while. I'm well, how are you?" I asked.

"I'm very well, its good to be back at court. What have I been missing?"

I take a goblet of ale as well and laugh at his question. I then looked up and saw the Lady Charlotte speaking and having a good time with one of the Seymour brother's and my smile faded.

"Well Francis, you have not missed much just the same ol court. Ladies acting amok and his majesty sill trying get his divorce." I said and looked away from the two.

~I laugh out loud "Ladies? Amok? Point me in that direction!" I laugh again reaching for yet another mug of ale.

"So his Majesty hasn't got rid of Katherine yet?" I need to make a point of visiting Anne since she is my cousin and could soon be in a position to grant me favors.

I shrug my shoulders and laugh along with him. "Oh you know these ladies...behind closed doors anything could happen." I said with a smirk. I then looked at Charlotte once more as her beautiful smile made my knees week. I wished I could throw my goblet at Seymour's head.
"No, not yet but you know his majesty he will settle until he gets what he wants" I said knowing things could get very harsh.

~laughing aloud "I know exactly what you mean!" I follow his glance to Tom Seymour and a young lady I haven't seen before.

"I have faith that good old Harry will pull through. He is after all Defender of the Faith. He could get anything he wants if he set his mind to that."

I smiled as I was quite enjoying my time with her. "I do hope I wouldn't be a burden." I said as I saw her glance over my shoulder, I wondered who she was looking at until I looked behind me and saw who else but Anthony Knivert. If she was infatuated with him then I knew I stood not a chance.

"You would not be a burden in the least bit, my lord." Bringing Thomas' attention back to her, she asked "Lord Seymour, I wonder if you know anything of the sport of archery. I have always longed to learn how to shoot but have never had an able teacher. Perhaps we could arrange a lesson for me?" She smiled sweetly at him, eager for him to say yes so she could see him again.

I smiled as her attention was returned to me."Well yes, I do know the sport. In fact my brother, Edward and I have contests at stringing and shooting. I would very much like to give you a lesson"I said knowing this would be the best chance for them to get to know each other better. "When would you like to arrange a lesson?"

As I look around the room I see Sir Francis Bryan, I approach him " Sir Francis" I take a sip of wine

"Highness" I say as I give a sweeping bow. "I hope this evening finds you well!" I smile most charming at her.

I blush and and smile at him " it does thank you and may I ask how you are faring?"

"oh I'm quite well now that you're here. This place could use some beauty, and yours more than fills the room" I smile and kiss her hand.

My senses tingle as he kisses my hand and I blush " Why thank you, you make me feel special"

"You should always feel special, princess." I give a wink and smile again. "Just let me know what else I can do to make you happy, and it shall be done."

" Thank you Sir Francis although sometimes I dream what it would be like to be a commoner, sometimes a duty of a princess it too much to handle. Oh how it would be nice to let go and have no worries just for a day"

"you want a common life? I think that is a normal thing to wish for. What would you do with your time if you didn't have the responsibilities of a princess?"

I slip into the Great Hall and smile at the dancing couples and laughter. It reminds me of home - though we wouldn't have such a grandeur. The women the dresses wear are beautiful and they swirl around them like a cloud of brilliant colour. I glance to my gown which is simple and plain...at least now it is clean. Admittedly gowns and finery would never bother me at home where such vanity was never a place of life but here it is contagious and I can't help feel self conscious.

Dugan clapped his hands, and shoved the goblet into his servant's hand's. "Here boy! Take it and get out of my face," he sneered. With that he roughly pushed the servant, and made his way through the hall. Dugan fiddled with his ring, and felt something fall over. And, he turned around, and noticed a young woman. Suddenly, he felt himself calm down; a bit. "I apologize, my lady," he said. Dugan was still a bit angry.

As I watch everything from afar in the corner I see a man shouting orders at a young boy. I frown a little and fold my arms over my chest-another rich noble probably with no morals.

However he then addresses me and I drop into a curtsey,"The apology is not mines to accept, sir,"I murmur as I think of the young man and as I rise from my curtsey. I tut a little as my glossy loose hair tumbles into my eyes and with a quick movement I tuck it behind my ear again.

Dugan waved his hand at the girl, and folded his arms over his chest. "Where are you from girl," he continued," Please it was not your fault. Besides, you must be new to court, so I shall let you go," he said. She had to be new. Dugan had never seen her before; at all.

"Scotland, sir,"I reply and glance down. I do not take kindly to his tone-he may be richer than me and own lands and jewels but I am not his subordinate. Though is a man in high places in a foreign land and thus angering him would be dangerous-so I bite my tongue.

I laugh thinking about what to say " Oh, I guess I never really thought about what I would do. Perhaps just walk and take everything in. Surely a simple life is a better one"

slips without being annouced and smile to myself thinking oh i can still sneak with out people seeing me as i look for some wine and notice my father is not around, how i miss him very much am near him but have not seen him then realise he must have forgotten about my birthday ball as i look down at the floor

"Really? Why don't we go for a walk now, get away while we can?" I offer with a smile.

I enter the Great Hall with my Dear friend White there is music playing and dancing and singing

his Majesty is hosting a great party for all who are new here at court its a wonderful evening here at court and the party is quiet grand .

White and i walk over to say hello to his Majesty and his Grace the Duke of Suffolk and others

"Charles was standing at window holding a glass of wine in his hands. He heard a female voice greeting him and turned his head. He bowed with a smiled as he recognized lady Catherine Parr"

i walked in to the great hall and i approached his Grace The Duke of Suffolk

Your Grace how are you ? it is s nice to see you and to be here . it is a grand party that his majesty is giving
dont you agree? everyone is so happy singing and dancing

Your Grace i could not help but notice that you were far away and deep in thought is there anything wrong can i help .

Lady Misseldon enter the great Hall. She stand and watch and is a little bit shy.
