I wasn't sure how to process this information inside I was happy but I could not show it on the outside.

Was it something he had said...something he had done? He thought.

I wasn't sure how to react to him should I tell him the truth that I was the Joan. Yes yes I would but not now not here like this. Can we meet this evening perhaps over a light supper.

Anthony smiled and nodded, a little too enthusiastically perhaps, "Yes, of course we can. Where? The great hall or one of our rooms?"

It had to be a place of secrecy were no one would interupt us. Their was no harm in me going to his chambers or his mine as we were betrothed to one another. Come to mine and we can have a nice talk. I don't drink but if you do then maybe bring a bottle.
I went over to him and kissed the side of his cheek.

Anthony smiled as she spoke and felt a warmness spread in his chest. As she kissed his cheek he could not help but grin, raising his eyebrow, "I shall see you then, Joan."
