Jane walked over to the rose bush and walked around it enjoy the fresh breeze she smiled a little as it made the hairs on her neck stand up and she walked enjoying the quietness that surrounded her. She lay back and smiled before getting a book out.

Nan walked trough rose bush. It was colorful and cheerful. She looked around and all she could see was red, pink and yellow roses. She put a wide smile on her face and felt like she wanted to run like kids. It was a lovely summer day. She listened birds song for a moment then she heard a sound from grasses she walked there carefully she saw a blonde woman lying on grasses and smiled. She was the lady Nan saw at Balcony last night. "Hello my lady." she said with a smile.

Jane looked up and got up and curtsied lowly 'My Lady' she said and she stood back up with a smile and looked at the Lady 'I was not expecting any...guests so please...excuse me for my.....rudeness' she said with a slight laugh and she nodded her head 'I am Jane Bassett, Mi'lady' she said.

Nan was surprised for her panic and laughed silently. She bowed her back and raised her hand up but it was too late, she was already stood up. "Hey, you dont need to get up. Please stay there." she said and looked around. Really it seemed nobodys around. "I didnt want to disturb you. The weather is so cheering today i didnt want to stay inside. I'm Nan Saville. Nice to meet you Jane." she said kindly.

Jane smiled and nodded 'I couldn't agree more, my lady it is simply perfect for this time of year' she said and she sat down again and fixed her dress out flatly 'Would you like to join me, my lady?' she asked.

Nan really liked the way she behaves. She was really the most friendly person Nan saw nowadays. She smiled and nodded "Of ocurse, thank you". She slowly sat next to her, on grasses and looked around. She remembered the time she walked to lavendar gardens at Hampton and lay back there all day. 3 years ago. That was the place she first met with Charles. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Let rose smells fulled in her breast. She looked at her again "Where are you from Jane? You're new here?"

Jane smiled and looked at Nan 'I am...from France mi'lady..from a certain extent..' she said with a small smile 'My mother was from here, and my father France..i was born in France..so i often debate if i am or not' she added 'And you mi'lady?' she asked.

Nan listened her carefully and answered her quesion "I'm originally from Germany. I was living there with my parents but they were murdered by some terrorist group 3 years ago, 1 month after i came to England as lady in waiting" she said and looked around. She smiled sadly. "Unfortunalety i have no siblings. So my all family is gone.Are you married jane?" she was beautiful and young lady, she must be taken.

Jane smiled a little 'I have no family left..aswell' she said slowly and she shook her head a little 'Nay my lady, i am not with any man in any way' she said and she gulped a little 'Your are very beautiful. you must be married or even being courted?' she asked.

Nan smiled for her words and shook her head meaning no. "So are you Jane. But no, I'm single. I used to be a married. A year ago. King, himself arranged a marriage with a Spanish duke for me. We were married for 8 months but he died. My son died 6 months ago.." she said and then she smiled quickly. "They're not happy stories, lets just forget. There's nobody even you are not in love?" she asked teasingly.

Jane smiled and nodded 'Indeed..i kind of like someone mi'lady.. but he does not know, and i do not want him to know...yet' she said with a smile and she leant over and whispered 'His Grace, Arthur Ashdown' she said and she pulled back and smiled a little.

Nan looked around thoughtfully for a moment and looked back at her. "Arthur Ashdown.. I might heard this name but i dont think i know him. What's his title? I mean what does he do?" she asked smiling. Of course she was not someone who cared about titles. "Why dont you want him to know? I think he feels lucky."

Jane looked at Nan and smiled 'He is Earl of Cornwall, Mi'lady' she said with a small smile and she shook her head 'Tis only a small liking, i do not know if it will..get anymore than that' she said with a smile.

Jane laughed quietly and shook her head 'Nay you are not, my lady, you are talking like a love sick woman' she said with a hint if mischief in her eyes 'I can tell you have fallen inlove with someone' she said.

Nan laughed and nodded quickly. She slowly lay back on grasses and looked at her. "d'accord, dites-moi Lady Jane, who i've fallen in love with?" she said teasingly.

Jane raised her eyebrow slowly and smiled 'Maybe you have fallen inlove with..His Grace..the Duke Of Suffolk' she said with a teasing smile.

Nan looked at her surprised and her smile dissappeared. She looked at the sky for a moment and sighed. She got angry for a moment but then she laughed loudly. "Ok now tell me who told you that?" she said with a teasing smile.

Jane shrugged a little and sighed with a small smile 'Everybody knows this, my dear' she said with a slight laugh and she shrugged a little more 'It does not matter who told me, and who knows, you love him, thats all that matters' she said with a smile.

Nan put her head on grasses again and sighed. She looked at sky for a moment and shrugged "Of course its not a secret. But.. Its not true that i love him... anymore." she said, closed her eyes and put her hands together on her lap.

Nan sighed deeply and looked at her "yes you can, if it hurts too much." she said and turned her eyes to sky again. "You might love someone so much some day, but if you feel you're trying for nothing, you'd decide to give up."

Edward had taken his son to the nurse and she had wrapped him up carefully in swaddling and let him feed from his wet nurse for a while. Edward then took his son who was wrapped in a warm bundle to the gardens as dawn was breaking-his perfect head crowned by a little hat and his blue eyes occasionally opening. Edward walked through the gardens and whispered softly to his son.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw Nan and Jane Bassett whom he met a while ago...

Jane smiled and laughed a little 'I do believe, i know what you are talking about my lady, as for i was inlove in france, yes at a tender age, but he did love me back..in a way i did not know, but he couldn't love me fully and it hurt..so i indeed gave up and then came here' she said with a smile, she looked up and saw his grace Edward Craven, whom she had met not that long ago, he had his new born son with him. She smiled softly at him and turned back to Nan.
