Docks

Edward with his household rode to the docks, behind them was a litter filled with his luggage which was being drawn along the rugged path. With a careful tug of the reins Edward with ease dismounted his horse and gave it a strong pat on the back.

As he adjusted his cloak he glanced up to the ship and smiled-the water look calm so the passing should be easy. He then watched his household clamber onto the ship while he waited for Alfonsina...

A servant ran towards to docks fast. While Edward was waiting for Alfonsina , servant came out of breath. He bowed and then started to talk.

"My lord.. Lady Alfonsina doesn't feel very well. She is resting in her room. I am here to tell you that she can't come with you and she needs you."

Edward nodded and instructed his household to return the the castle for now. They all scurried away and Edward rush back to Alfonsina...

Pierre watched as the waves hit the dock. He often wondered what was out there. Out there in the sea. Who really knew......there could be unknown creatures of all sorts down in that big blue world. He shook his head, and simply chuckled. "Pierre you are losing it again," he said. He turned away from the docks, and walked down the dirt path. However, he felt he was being followed. "Come out," he said.

I went out to the docks, knowing the smell and the air brought me great happiness. Although, on this particular day, I felt an ominous feeling, I wondered what was plaguing me.

I walked further down the path and saw my old friend Pierre. He looked lost in thought, so I decided to sneak up on him. As he called out I burst out of the bushes "Simmer down soldier!" I said in a guff voice then smiled.

"Pierre my old friend! When did you arrive at court?" I said as I embraced him with a hug.

Pierre turned around, and smiled. It was his old friend, Thomas. "It has been so long, Thomas," he continued," How are you old friend," he asked. Pierre hugged him back, and pulled back.

Noelle gripped onto her cross, and closed her eyes. Thing were not going well for her. Like usual. And, she had to escape reality. It was good for her.

Noelle stood on the dock, and looked down at her reflection.

After a very long and hot voyage from italia I put my hand to my eye seeing my secret knight in amore approaching. I gathered myself together and held out my hand. Brandon you are very late but forgiven of course!

"Charles reached Elena as fastly as he could after hearing she was back at court. He met that young and beautiful girl a year ago. But he never forgot her. Almost feeling like a boy at his first meeting with a girl, he smiled warmly once he saw her and kissed gently her hand"

My dear Elena...welcome back at court. Beautiful like always, I see. How are you?

"He said raising his eyes to her"

I thought I was your golden Angel? Marriage has changed you the second of course. I smiled but their was a venomous bite in my words lifting up my skirts I got myself down from boat looking up at him. I shall keep a good tongue in my head let's ride horse back to court I think I shall ride with you front or back where shall be my position

"Charles laughed and offered her is arm"

Every wish from your mouth sounds like an order to me, Elena. Let's ride back towards Palace and tell me about your absence from court. Just...don't make me talk about...positions. It's not kind in front of a lady...

"He added with his usual teasing smile"

I do try my best hmm let me see I had a heart which you stole and never gave back. i looked at him gripping his arm. I am no lady Brandon so I think I shall ride upfront I do have very firk thighs

"Charles giggled and shrugged a bit"

Ohh...I can say everything about you. Except you're not a lady. Do you have an horse around here, then?

"He asked curiously"

Elena looked at him and, stood in front of him looking at him directly. Charles would your hidden desire still like me if i was too act more like a lady, but no I have no horse only yours what are we to do

"Charles frowned, pretending not to understand"

My hidden desire? What are you talking about, my lady? Anyway yes, my Oscar is there. Have you need...help to mount it?

"He asked smiling once they stopped next to his horse. He looked at her elegant figure and grinned a bit"

Playing games i knew perfectly well how to mount a horse any excuse to have him close. Bending down i picked up my skirts revealing my legs. Not on my own would you like to help me mount him

"Charles cleared his throat as she revealed her legs raising her skirt. But he composed himself immediately and wrapping her waist with his hands, he helped her to mount his horse. He looked up at her"

See? You can't avoid my help, lady Salvatore...

"He said with kidding voice"

Thank you Charles. You are much more reserved now days tell me what has changed becoming a duke maybe. swung my leg over and looked at him he seemed like a wall of stone

"Charles mounted his horse too, placing himself behind her and taking reins in his hands"

Well...so many things happened. I married twice, I have six children, some complicated relationship...nothing new than usual. What about you?

"He asked teasingly, placing softly his hand on her hip"

I turned my face and looked at him. Their is certainly no waiting around with you as for me no kids no marriage no nothing really i am free as a bird i turn up then simply fly away again without a trace

"Charles hit softly his horse's hips and started riding slowly"

Really? This really surprises me, Elena. I mean...I thought that a beauty like you was surrounded by suitors...

"He said smiling, but looking around"

Letting out a roar of laughter i slapped his leg gently. I have no suitors for this reason alone i am far to stubborn to let a man change or even dare to mould me into simply something that i shall never be neither become

"Charles rolled his eyes smiling"

Ohh...I forgot you are a wilde mare. That's why you need a man who can dominate you, my lady...

"He said jokingly but he pretended to be serious"

Yes Charles that is exactly what I need are their men at court like that? tis a shame that i shall have to cross you of my list wr could of been excellent together I tried to hide my smile

"Charles smiled for her words"

Oh really? I didn't know I had such power on you, Elena. You always ignored me...

"He said with fake offended voice"
