Victoria felt relieved to return to her chambers. "I'm exhausted from my journey. Please be a dear and take Mary until I'm well rested." she says to Mary's nurse. The nurse took Mary from her arms and departs. Victoria walks to her bed and jumps upon it.

Having arrived from France earlier today, Sophie was led to a noble ladies chamber. This noble lady would be the one who Sophie would serve on hand and foot. Coming to the door Sophie barely made a sound as she knocked on the door.

A tired voice beckons Sophie to enter. Gently she opens the door with a cloth covering her hand. In past times Sophie never had to open the door with her hands but normally with her mind. It was rather a strange adjustment to get used to all these things. But a must do if she was wanted to blend in. On entering she noticed the heavy fabrics which adjourned the ceiling, walls and windows. The lady was blonde with curly hair that held into place.

Seeing the lady, Victoria sits up on her bed. "You must be Sophie Devereux." She says with a kind smile.

A quick curtsey and Sophie smiled politely at lady Brandon her accent sweet and English.

Yes my lady I am Sophie. Would it be possible if you could tell me my duties while I am in your household

It had been something Sophie was most eager to find out as she had never done this before.

*I knocked at her door. Wanting to ask her about the teaching of my daughter Maggie.* I know that you will teach her well of the ways of being a duchess. I have spoken to Charles and he agreed that you will be a wonderful teacher. I will be leaving for a while and while I am gone I would hope that you will teach her well. I will check on her as well Charles. Since I know that were interested in her teachings I hope that you will teach her a language and a instrument that she can play. Thank you for thinking of Maggie and her life with a suitable husband.
