"Charles clapped his hands after King's announcement. He noticed Alfonsina talking with a man, never seen before. But surely it wasn't her husband. She looked completely healed from her illness and he felt happy to see that. He looked around and saw Nan glancing at Anne, while his pupil Catherine entered in the Hall. He was going to approach her, while his sister came closer to him"

Eleanor! I hoped to find you here. You look great, tonight...

"He giggled"

Eleanor clapped after His Majesty spoke and took a sip of wine. She saw everyone merry around her and it was infectious. She smiled to Charles when he addressed her.

"Charles! Thank you, you look very handsome tonight. I hoped to see you as well. How do you fare?"

She asked his, curiously.

"I have to boast that we English know how to welcome guests and to have a merry time. I hope you feel quite at home here, for the duration of your stay." She nodded and smiled happily when Margaret mentioned Thomas's new rank. "I am so very proud of him, his work is demanding and we do not get to see very much of him, but he makes time to spend with his family. For him, it is an honor to serve the king. But he also keeps in mind his faith in God," she added.

She looked up when she heard the king announce Princess Cordelia's birthday. She smiled widely at her pupil, looking lovely and festive for the night. She would have to remember to give her the birthday gift.

She smiled as they walked out to the floor. She was nervous not quite knowing the dance, but she knew she would do fine. She blushed when he took her into his arms and felt happy to be there. She looked at him, noticing he was looking her in the eyes and everyone around them disappeared.

Compliments were something new to me, and Alfonsina seemed completely genuine. It was hard to resist such a beautiful woman. I also took a sip of my wine in an effort to hide my pleased expression. "You've a lovely name my lady. Where are you from?"

She smiled softly to him. Alfonsina realized that he wasn't used to compliments.

"I am from Italy , my lord.. Genoa. Have you ever been there?"

Then she added.

"Thank you by the way.. I am happy to hear that you liked my name."

She smiled again.

Dorothy decided to wander around the Great Hall some more since she wanted to see more of White Hall. As she is wandering around she noticed a gentleman walking towards her. She knew he looked familiar but she didn't know whe he is.

He sensed her hesitance and expertly guided her through the steps, seeing how she was a fast learner. But Margaret was such a graceful woman, it would be impossible for her to make a mistake in the dance. When she spun the skirt of her dress brushed against him, her perfume reached him and tingled his senses. Nothing else existed for him. At last the dance ended and the king made his announcement of Princess Cordelia. Henry applauded for the girl, and glanced at Margaret. "I would love some time alone with you again," he whispered,his lips brushing her ear.

She smiled again. Alfonsina loved talking with that man somehow. But the most surprising thing to her is how different she was feeling. Then she started to talk again.

"Unfortunately , yes. I've been there for a year. But I am still getting used to the court. English court is very different. Full of lies , full of betrayal.I can't say that I really like here. What about you my lord?"

It's true, both are good occasions and circomstances for developp your social life at court.

She smile softly in hearing how her father talked about them.

I am not surprised that he told it about us but I am happily surprised to know that he did talk about us even with you.

Emilie turn to Royce and let Mary answer to his question first since it's to her that he did adressed, nodd and precise.

In fact, I has been raised in my motherly family's castle in the countryside and I did come at court only sometimes when I was invitated by my father for special occasions and he have send me in England a very short time after his marriage to Mary, so I hadn't the opportunity to encounter her in France and it's in England that we have encounter.

She giggle.

I find that it's indeed a funny because I didn't know her when she was married to my father and I have encounter her here in England, by chance and without even well recalling that she was my stepmother since I didn't know her when she was married to my father ! And in the end she have become one my dearest friends !

She take another sip of her goblet and turn to look at people clapping in their hands as it seem to be some animation.

I smiled to her kindly.

Thomas clapped his hand and sat next to Alice again. He greeted Ambassador Mendoza and invited him to join them. He looked at Margaret and smiled

It's why I do wait to meet a woman who could be the right one for me before to think to remarry because I know form experience how badly a marriage can turn and how it can break your heart and waste your life.

He take a sip of wine while looking at her, he notice that she look at the royal table without seeming really interested in what's happening there but more as if she was trying to avoid to look elsewhere and seem bothered by something.
