Alice entered the great hall alongside Thomas. Her teal and gold gown befitted her new rank as the wife of the Lord Chancellor. She even smiled as she curtsied to the king and smiled at the Lady Anne. She was seated next to Thomas. "I hope everything goes well tonight," she said as she grasped his hand in hers.

I smiled in return. Ursula seemed, unlike most people at court, genuine. I wanted Anne to have only the best of friends with the best connections, so I continued talking with her. Also I noticed Anne seemed to want me all to herself, but every other man's eyes were on her. I could play her game just as well. "So tell me Lady Misseldon, do you serve any of the ladies here at court? And your fiance, this Lord Tavistock, what does he do?" I tried to hide a smirk as I noticed Anne's exasperated expression.

'This shall be quite interesting. I wonder what my brother, and my husband are speaking of now,' she thought. She felt a small tap on her shoulder, and looked up. A young servant boy offered to pour some wine into her goblet, and she nodded....yes. Elizabeth thanked the young man, and sipped her wine. And, she smiled happily as she saw her youngest daughter.....Anne. She was so very, very happy for her daughter.....but sad at the same time.

I glared at Edward as he made small talk with Ursula. He knew how to push my buttons. I was interested, however, to hear his views on Anne Boleyn. I let them continue speaking.

I drink deeply from my wine goblet as I watch all that goes on around me. Many beautiful women tonight. And the king looks happy, which is a nice change of pace.

Anne bowed to Thomas More and his wife with a poker face and she smiled at her mother.She was very happy.She darnk from her wine and turned to Henry.She was still smiling.Nestled in a little more to the King
