"I am grateful for your words, Elizabeth. I am trying really hard to please his majesty" said Thomas. "But let's stop talking about me and my work. Is my beautiful wife enjoying the life in court?" he asked and approached his wife.

Elizabeth never really had the chance to socialise. She kept herself to herself most of the time. I managed to meet up with an old friend off mine, Alice More. I haven't been that social around court. I would much rather enjoy your company Thomas as it has become such a rarity. Elizabeth spoke truthfully not wanting to make her husband feel bad.

"M'lady flatters me!" said Thomas with a smile on his face. "I am sorry I have been away for a while. The work never stops. I guess you spend nice time with Mistress More"

Elizabeth knew all to well that Thomas was on the "Uprising" at court. She wouldn't complain about it as he had work so hard for her, their children. "If maybe once a week you could find time for our marriage. Then I shall be happier than I already am."
