Alfonsina Garcia's private room

Alfonsina and Edward came to the room. This room was for Alfonsina's to think and she was using this room to have a little time for herself. It was the first time she was with a man in this private room. She was excited and scared. She didn't know what would happen but she didn't want to know too. She let herself enjoy the moment.

"I hope you like here."

She smiled.

Alfonsina showed me to the room and I took a look around, seeing it was in fact simple and elegant, and must have been a very personal space for her. "This is a lovely little room," I said, realizing we were finally alone. I gently touched her arm and brought her close to me because it felt right.

As they got closer , Alfonsina's hearbeats were getting faster.She smiled him.

"Has anyone ever told you that you are very handsome and attractive man?"

I smiled when she said this, and I wished she knew how much I had needed to hear that from someone. "I would not believe it from anyone else," I whispered. "Especially from a vision of beauty as yourself.. like the moon goddess Diana." I dared to touch her soft blonde hair.

She smiled and closed her eyes for a second when he touched her hair.

"I guess you wife-to-be is very lucky.. I hope she is aware of it."

She came closer a little bit too. They were face to face and Alfonsina could feel the breath of Edward's.

I gave a small laugh when she mentioned Anne, though it was a little strange to think of my fiancee now. "I hope so too, but I think she only loves my status, not myself." Alfonsina's presence was intoxicating to me, I had to kiss her once more and when I did her lips were like honey.

She smiled and leaned towards him to kiss back. When they were kissing , Alfonsina closed her eyes. She thought that it must a dream. Then she wrapped her arms around his neck and rubbed his neck slowly. After that she removed her hand his back and finally she put her hands on his chest. She could feel his heartbeats.

I pulled her close to me, her fragrance was filling the air between us. Just looking into her eyes put me in a kind of spell. "I want you to know, I remember every part of your life story you told me when we were at the stream. I don't want you ever to feel hurt because of me. I don't want to cause you any suffering," I whispered while looking into her eyes.

She felt excited when he pull her closer then she smiled by looking his eyes.

"Dont worry.. You wont cause me any pain more than i have already had."

Then she kissed him passionately.

"I don't know your story very well.. But i can understand from your eyes. You had a lot of pain too once. I don'tt want you to feel the pain because of me. Because i already loved the moments i spent with you. But i understand if you don't want to see me again. You are an engaged man.."

I squeezed her tightly, knowing what she said was true, but all the same I could not help what I wanted. "Being with you makes me feel different. Yes I have had a lot of pain in my life, but I want to forget about all that. You help me to forget it." I smiled at her, still holding her close and softly kissing her eyelids.

She closed her eyes as he kissed her eyelids Then opened and looked at him directly.

"Do you think I will be punished if someone learns what is going on between us right now?"

She asked with a soft voice.. Whenever she is upset or worried , her Italian accent was showing itself more.

I knew how worried she was, and wanted nothing more than to calm her fears. "Do not worry at all. We have done nothing, only shown our appreciation for one another. Do you.. do you feel guilty because of your husband?" Though I knew they had parted on bad terms I did not want her to have any guilty feelings about us, whatever would happen between us.

She shook her head immediately. Then she kissed Edward's warm lips once again.

"I do not feel guilty.. Otherwise I am so happy that I nearly forgot how it makes you feel."

Then she stood up and held Edward's hand. She made him stand up too and took him to the bed.

"Come.. Let's lie down.."

My senses were dulled but I could not stop the racing of my heart as she led me to the bed. There was no turning back now, whatever happened this night. No man alive would have had the nerve to walk away from her. We lay down together, the fireplace provided enough warmth for the room. As I lay back I realized how the room was spinning and closed my eyes to avoid it. I looked over at Alfonsina and suddenly I felt better. "I hope you do not think me a sot. I rarely partake of wine." I admitted. On impulse I brought her close to me.

She saw he closed his eyes for a while. She understood why he did this because her head was spinning around too. She knew that wine would generally show its effect later. She smiled after his words.

"No.. I understand you."

Then she put her elbow on the pillow and put her chin on her palm to look at him. Her other hand was moving on his face softly. She touched his lips , his moustache and his cheeks.

"Oh , my lord..."

She whispered.

I felt her gentle touch and heard her breathy whisper, and a very particular part of me began to tingle with desire. I wanted her mouth so badly and I kissed her, letting my hands go all over her body. I had not a thought for anything else but the lust I was feeling, the craving for this woman.

She kissed him back and smiled as he was moving his hand on her body. She was feeling happiness with this man but she knew that it wouldn't last so much.


MORNING

Alfonsina opened her eyes. She had headache and she felt like her brain was trying to come out from her head. She got up then she saw Edward near her. She opened her eyes wider and tried to remember what happened last night. She couldn't remember anything. She wasn't fully naked and he wasn't too. How hard she tried , she couldn't remember. She thought of leaving the room without saying anything because she was sure that he wouldn't remember too. That's why she started to get dressed quickly.

I awoke slowly as bright sunlight entered through the windows. A wave of nausea passed over me and I moaned, shutting my eyes again. Then I heard rustling and looked up quickly to see Alfonsina getting dressed. I turned my head so quickly I winced from the pain of the throbbing headache. "What.. what happened?" I mumbled. Suddenly aware I was only half-clothed, my doublet and trousers laying on top of the covers.

What??

Maybe I was hot last night and shed my clothes? Anything but the possibility that I made drunken love to a married woman, a woman I was strongly attracted to, but this was not a good situation. I grabbed my clothes and jumped out of bed, getting dressed. I faced away from Alfonsina, feeling shame burn in my face. "Whatever happened, my lady, I hope you forgive me." My mouth was dry as I spoke so I hoped she heard me clearly.

Alfonsina saw Edward's awakening. She tried to smile at him but she was really ashamed of herself. Then she looked at him for a second. He was still handsome as ever. The shock in his eyes made him more attractive. She got dressed and sat down the edge of the bed. She smiled and kissed his lips soflty.

"Don't worry.. There is nothing to forgive. At least for me. I don't remember what happened between us too."

Then she sighed and stood up again.

"I remember that you are engaged. I guess I am the one who should be sorry. I hope you forgive me if anything happened."

I was still in a daze but her kiss brought me back to reality. I had to accept the consequences of our actions whether we had made love or not. "Do not be sorry. It takes two of us to do this. I only wish, if we had done something, that I remembered it. I think it would have been a pleasure to remember." I smiled at her as the sun shone on her golden hair. "I won't tell a soul about this. I respect you too much to do that."

She smiled to him.

"I know.. I won't tell anybody too. Also.. It was really good for me. As I could remember.."

She giggled.

"I hope we can remember what happened last night." Then she continued with soft voice. "If it was a bad night , I think I wouldn't feel happy that much."

I smiled widely when she said she'd enjoyed whatever passed between us. "If it was good for you, how could I say otherwise for me? Damn the wine for making our senses groggy!" I could not resist kissing her again, her lips as soft and warm as they were the night before. "If it won't be too awkward, I would like to see you around court more often. I know we each have other.. priorities, but I think you are an outstanding woman, Alfonsina Garcia, Duchess of Genoa." I smiled at her.

She giggled again as he kissed her. Then she smiled softly and she rubbed his cheek with her hand. She started to talk by looking at his eyes.

"Do you know what i remember from last night? I'ven't been that happy and that calm for a long time."

Then she added.

"It will be my pleasure my lord , seeing you around the court."

I smiled at her, the world seemed hazy now as I stared into her eyes. My heart swelled up when she said I'd made her the most happy in a long time. "I have never been so happy before either. If only we had met sooner.." But it was foolish to think of what-if. We both had lives to lead, separate lives that with luck would cross every now and then. "Nothing would make me happier than to continue our friendship, if that is what you desire." I said this knowing I could not offer her more than an affair.

She nodded sadly. She knew that if they had met earlier things could have been different maybe. Then she smiled to him.

"I want what you want my lord."

She said with a soft voice.

"I really want want our friendship to continue , too."
